I have approx. 1026 images and I went ahead and tested the plugin for first time and it did optimization but it got stuck at remaining 5 so I stopped it. Restarted my cloud instance and tried it again to finish the remaining 5, however it keeps stuck at the status that has the animated clock going around and wording says “5 image(s) found, starting optimization…”

So, how I can fix this issue?

Optimized images (including thumbnails): 1760/1800

Total optimized images: 1026

Hi thedeafjoe!

There could be many reasons why this is happening. First of all, could you please make sure you have the latest plugin version? It should be 6.3.3.

Could you also take a look at the following article? Most of our customers are able to fix the issue by themselves with it: https://shortpixel.com/knowledge-base/article/why-some-of-the-images-and-or-thumbnails-cannot-be-optimized/

Oh I didnt realize it was the resmush.it plugin but under same owner because I saw the version showed 1.0.4.

I assume I’ll have to go over there and create a post.
