I just checked, but for me saving the settings still works fine…
No idea what’s going on.
Maybe a clash with another plugin you installed?
Disable all other plugins for a moment and see if it works then.

Hey, thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
I’m pretty sure I did that on the first sites I had trouble a few weeks back, as I try to check for conflicts before ever reporting an issue. I was working on another site yesterday that had the plugin installed and noticed the same behavior (or lack of), so I made a quick report. My bad for not double checking.
I’ll reinstall on a site and check it out

My apologies for not yet testing the plugin prior to your update, but I’ve been busy working on a few sites.
Testing:
The updated plugin will shift the badge from left to right on the screen, but, it WILL NOT display on the top of the screen, only the bottom.
Installed on a site with the latest core WP 4.41 and the 3 other plugins inactive, while using the base 2016 Theme, clicking on the badge will take you to the Admin screens.
