Catching up-Trip to Kansas City
Nate’s brother and his family moved to Kansas. Its only a 4-5 hour drive from here, so we jumped at the chance to see them! We also visited some church history sites as well.
Catching Up-My granpda’s funeral
- Bear Lake hidden by low clouds.
- Everything was covered in this beautiful frost.
- Notes my grandparents wrote to each other. My grandma passed 4 years ago.
He passed in January. It was a great reunion. We visited with family that we haven’t seen for many years! And to know my grandparents are finally together again made this a joyous day.
Catching Up-Utah
- We miss those mountains!
I didn’t get very many pictures of anything else. But we had a blast sledding while in Utah! Yes, I know Asher is in pink snow pants. Its all I had! Trust me, I got so much crap for it, I bought him some manly, dark blue snowpants the next day! This was so much fun!
Catching Up-The Blizzard
- The garage door was closed but all this snow blew in
- Snow blew under the garage!
- Drift in front of the house.
- Nate at end of street and really deep drifts!
Catching Up-Christmas ’09
Pokemon, Candy, Lego Star Wars, Tricycle, RootBeer Making Kit, Mrs. Claus dress complete with black boots for Raeveroni, and a snow blower. All the while, another blizzard was raging outside, delaying our trip to Utah for a day. We literally could not drive away, and Nate tried to help dig a neighbor out of a drift. It was a perfect, stay-home-in-your-pajamas kind of day.
O Holy Night
For Unto you is born this day, in the City of David, a Savior, which is Christ, the Lord.
Luke 2:11
We have so much to be thankful for. Most of all, our Savior and redeemer, Jesus Christ.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
Blizzard with a capital B!
Dude. It is cold. And we have a. ton. of. snow.
School cancelled for 2 days=Awesome!
Car stuck in garage so Nate walked 4 miles to work at 6 am-in the dark-3 degrees outside-with wind blowing. Cops told him to stop walking in the road= Not awesome.
Digging for 2 hours=good workout.
Hot chocolate, my family around me, and a warm home=the best blessing of all!!!
Road Trip!!
The big boys headed to Texas for the BYU/Oklahoma game. Reggie flew in from California to go with them. It was great to see him and they had a GREAT TIME! They had to drive through the night to make Reggie’s flight back home. Nate called me when they were leaving the game and he could hardly talk he had been yelling so much! He bleeds blue, I am convinced of it!
Downtown Dallas.
Dealy Plaza where JFK was assassinated.

They also went to an aquarium that had several levels starting in the trees, and ending down in the ocean. Lots of neat animals, birds and fish. And a Mayan fire show!

Dallas LDS temple.
Before the game.
The biggest MOST ridiculously HUGE television screen you have ever seen!!!

“V” is for Victory!!!!!

Scouts
Rylan and Ethan earned their Bobcat badges this week. They’ve been working hard! Our little branch doesn’t have a cubscout program so we joined other members in our branch and meet with the Methodist group.
The scoutmaster, whose name is ‘Doc’ is a huge kid! He is great! He’s eating a worm after the kids met their fundraiser goal. Slimy and sick!
