Lovin' Life!

Life is good isn't it?  These are just some fun moments from August-

McKay pulled these boots on and yelled, "Mommy, I going to work!"

Logan is a forager!  He loves food and finds it everywhere he goes.  I open the fridge and he is always right behind me trying to climb in to get food out.  We go outside and he will eat raspberries and strawberries straight from the plant- no picking required, green or red.  He'll go into the orchard and pick up apples off the ground and try to eat them...he loves food!

Margaret made these fuzzy hats for the boys and they LOVE LOVE LOVE them.  Almost every night they run around playing "Giants" in their hats (it is a game where they run up and down the hall  Roaring at each other and laughing...very entertaining especially now that Logan joins in!)

 I canned tomatoes all by myself and they worked!  It worked so well I have done several batches since this first initial batch!!

 What a happy boy!  He thinks he is so big sitting in McKay's booster chair.  Logan is so easy going and happy- I love this little guy.  He can't help but make you smile!

Craft Night

Katelyn planned a girls night for some fun canvas painting and modge podge.  McKay tagged along and we all had a blast!

 Adrian and I modge-podged scrapbook paper on our canvases and Katelyn free-hand painted hers.  They all turned out really fun.

August Adventures

Matt covered extra shifts throughout the summer as everyone took summer vacations and as it turned out, he ended up with a week off in August.  We decided to have a mini-vacation ourselves.  We didn't go anywhere but we had fun doing things together around home.  We went to an Orem Owlz game which was fun but I think there should only be 5 innings...baseball games get a little slow for me!

Next up we hit Two-Buck Tuesday at the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum (along with the rest of Utah County...)  It was crazy busy, but the boys still had fun.  After the museum we went to Cabelas and I think the boys had just as much fun there!

Last stop- Hogle Zoo.  I think this was our favorite of the week.  The zoo was a blast!  The boys loved all the animals especially the Polar Bear.  The bear was quite the show-off and came right up to the glass performing for the audience.  McKay was a little anxious but he liked it afterward!

Happy Birthday Logan!

Happy 1st Birthday Logan!!

My baby is a year old!  This past year has gone by too fast.  Logan is the happiest little guy around.  He wanders around smiling and gabbing all day long.  He loves to hold toys and put them in his mouth as he wanders around.  He says Mama, Dada, ball, vroom-vroom, Ama, Apa, snack, cup, look...and he loves to jabber!  Logan loves McKay and they are actually starting to play together really good until one of them takes the toy the other one wants :-).  We had a family dinner for his birthday and he had a blast being the center of attention.

My kitchen destroyer- no matter how hard I try to keep the kitchen clean, Logan manages to make a new mess.  But with this smile how can I get mad at him?

McKay is quite the Super Hero.  Another post on my flying Super Hero is coming...

These silly boys make me laugh.  It doesn't take much to bring smiles and giggles.  What happy boys they are!

We have the most beautiful view from our deck.  Sunset pictures never do them justice...so picture this times ten!

McKay pulls his chair over to the window and pulls all the window clings off and puts them all over his body.  Then just starts giggling!  It was so precious!

Camping

Matt's parents got a new trailer this summer so we've helped them break it in a little bit...  I admit I'm not a camper but I have enjoyed our few campouts.  One night is plenty for me...  Matt and McKay love it, and Logan loves it too- putting every rock in his mouth, eating everything in sight, getting dirt from head to toe- needless to say I don't get much relaxing!  But it is fun to get outdoors and slow down a little.

Summertime Fun!

Well I have a whole summer to update...here's our highlights-

We're all moved and loving life in Santaquin.  McKay loves his "park" and could live in the sandbox if I would let him.

Logan is all smiles!

This picture basically sums up our summer.  Raspberries!!  Yah we have a lot and I spend every other afternoon picking away.  Good thing they are yummy to eat!!

Blanket rides!  McKay and Logan invented this and they do it so well together it is fun to see them interact.  McKay will pull a blanket out (of course usually not just one...) and Logan will go sit on the blanket.  McKay will then drag the blanket around until Logan falls off.  They will both laugh and then do it again.  It is fun to watch!

We ventured to the Splash Pad with Aunt Adrian and it was a hit!  McKay loved the water and Logan loved the swings.  It is a perfect combination!

For Logan's birthday, he got a swing and he loves it!  He will sit in here as long as you are willing to push him!
