Writer Information Management Services – a business division of Writer Corporation has been in operation since 1987. We have grown into India’s largest and most comprehensive Information Management Company and one of the fastest growing in Asia.

Our capabilities span the entire lifecycle of your data with Enterprise Content Management services that includes Business Process Services, Secure Storage Services, Cloud and Data Services and Digital Solutions.This has helped us to serve the growing and evolving Information Management needs of over 3000 customers across India. We deliver these solutions on site and off site in our 28+ Information Management centers across 16 locations in India. We have created a capacity of more than 12 million square feet of storage space and more than 750+ seats of Business Processing centres. Each of these facilities boast of the latest fire detection and protection systems ranging from humidity, temperature and dust control, 24/7 security, water hydrant and gas based suppression systems, CCTV surveillance, ISO certified Information security standards etc. which are audited independently.

Our facilities are purpose built to allow you to store and manage documents, servers, data tapes and also secure processing rooms to scan, index and process information. All our facilities are on a Wide Area Network (WAN) with built in Disaster Recovery redundancies (primary and secondary) to enable ‘zero’ downtime. The facilities are ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified, also the Business Process Services and Secure Storage Services have been appraised for SVC 1.3 Level 5 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). Satyamohan Yanambaka

CEO

Mr. Satyamohan Yanambaka is responsible for executing the business strategy and directing the overall performance and growth of the organization. A proven leader & strategic planner with passion to redefine enterprise standards.

Satyamohan has over 25 + years of rich and diversified leadership experience in many large multinational corporations such as HCL Technologies, Oracle, State Bank of India and Mahindra Satyam.

Mr. Yanambaka is an astute professional with a rare blend of IT transformation delivery and cross functional financial services expertise along with a flair in business development. He is adept in devising innovative & disruptive managed services models. Mr. Satyamohan has demonstrated his capabilities as a leader with a dash of inspiration, technology expertise, operational experience and above all passion for redefining services standards.

Krishan Badaya

CFO – Chief Financial Officer

Joined Writer in Oct 2011. He is a Graduate in Commerce, Chartered Accountant, MBA finance, Law Graduate and Diploma holder in Information System Audit from ICAI

As an established finance leader, he has 25+ years of extensive and rich global experience in Financial Accounting & Reporting, Business Planning & dynamic resource allocations, Cost Management, Treasury & Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions, Taxation, Legal & commercial, Corporate Governance & Risk management, Strategy formulation.

He oversees the company’s overall financial activities, including tax, treasury, analysis, Internal, statutory and tax Audits, financial operations, key procurement, legal & commercials. He has won the various recognition including best leader and function award.

Prior to Writer he has served at various positions for HT Media Limited ( Hindustan Times ), Writers & Publishers Limited (Dainik Bhaskar Group)

Ajit Karunakaran

Sr. VP – Strategic Accounts Group, Business Development

An astute professional with a successful track record of spearheading startup business operations and leading high-performance Teams in diverse businesses & complex markets. An ethical and engaged leader with deep strategic insight, belief in excellence coupled with a ‘get it done’ attitude.

Mr. Ajit Karunakaran plays a pivotal role in steering growth initiatives of the company and its digital business transformation to deliver a +20% P&L growth, has evolved as the Leader in Data Life Cycle management solutions in India, Middle East and Africa. Mentoring comes naturally to him and he is often applauded for his talent when it comes to developing next-gen leaders delivering sustainable growth.

A member of Writer’s Excellence initiative – Malcolm Baldrige Excellence Model, Mr. Karunakaran is the one who has conceptualised and executed aggressive business strategies to establish Writer as a leading ITeS player and a pioneer in Cloud Services Brokerage company.

He has successfully delivered the company veering into the African territory with Intelics Solutions Nigeria Ltd., one of Africa’s largest Information Management services providers.

Navin Shukla

Business Head – Secured Storage Services

A Navy veteran, Navin has a total of 30+ years of experience including the Armed Forces and Corporate. In the Corporate world he has handled diverse roles viz. Operations Planning & Management, Training & Development, People and Process Management, Project/ Program Management, Administration and Risk Mitigation and Security and Reverse Logistics Management.

He has been with Writer Information for more than 5 years handling the West Geo which is the biggest of the 5 geographies for the Secured Storage Business. He has additionally been responsible for the Service Excellence portfolio since 2021. Through his tenure at Writer he has demonstrated positive leadership with excellent team management, organisational and interpersonal skills aimed towards sustaining both organization and individual goals. He has strategically expanded the business of the West Geo and ensured a year on year revenue growth. He successfully managed all stakeholders, unions, associates, partners and customers. Under his able leadership, West won the “Best Geography” award twice in the last 3 years.

As an avid environmentalist he took on responsibilities of the sustainability program as well. As a result of his leadership Writer Information surpassed the carbon savings target and also won the Writer Sustainability Awards in both the categories viz. “Most Promising Sustainability Initiative” and “Best Sustainability Initiative” for 2 consecutive years

Ajay Soni

Head of Cloud and Data Services

Ajay Soni brings over three decades of comprehensive experience to his role as Head of Cloud and Data Services. With a distinguished career spanning various leadership positions, Ajay has consistently demonstrated expertise in cloud and infrastructure management, global delivery, and information security.

Throughout his career, Ajay has held pivotal roles such as Cloud and Infrastructure Practices Head, where he honed his strategic acumen and led initiatives to drive innovation and operational excellence. Ajay has acquired global experience in large IT Services Companies such as Patni, iGatePatni, MindTree.

Ajay is a visionary professional with expertise in Enterprise IT Services. He has always focused on innovation and technologies to deliver Remote Infrastructure Management, Cloud Life Cycle Management, Data Centre management to provide great experience and satisfaction to customers. Ajay has demonstrated his capabilities as a leader with technology expertise, business acumen and innovations in service delivery models.
