I need some time away to rest and recuperate...
Too much going on. Can't have an overall full control of everything.
This New Year will have to bring a new year's resolution.
And I'll know what to fix..or improve on besides of my huru-hara lifestyle when it comes to coursework. (hey! uni life!) lol.
Winter camp tomorrow. Live rounds! Looking forward to that now.

Ouch....
What would you do if you hurt the very thing you sworn to protect?...
Slipped of my tongue and WHAMmm!
If I'm stupiak enough to not know that it carries a double meaning.
I probably was..
Damage done, I'll need the IMF to bail me out of this debt/guilt this time.
Till then it shall be remembered as a spot of unintentional pain(+tears) inflicted to a close one.
Lesson learned.. part of the 'learning curve' I guess...
My mistake, price paid by others.
Damn...what a sorry sod..
lol.

Cease-fire.

If I'm not goina do it, No one else is going to~
If I'm not goina do it now, No time else I'm goina~
If I don't learn from it now, January comes I calat-ed lah~
So I should be doing Holland's tutorial now!
So I thought anyway.
Lol
Yah..yah.. I'll do it after this post loorr..
Gowsh I have to push ,myself sometimes if not everytime!
Have to make full use to this weekend man. One of the rare ones where I'm in Belfast sitting down with nothing to do besides my tutorials and assignments. The rest, kuat lari siut.. 3 things i hope to do/start this weekend anyway-
-Holland's Heat Transfer Tutorial.
-Presentation on a ridiculous engineering topic(Wetlands and Marshes)
- Report on Distillation Columns for my labs.
I hope so anyway. Other weekends not around..so my last weekend in Belfast..
Other updates include, Pat ee is back to Malaysia for good. My brother's feet grew a size between the time taken for her to fly back with the pair of sandals I bought for him(or rather was instructed to buy). All guiness chocs arrived in Malaysia safely for mommy.
I went to see Scooter at Clubland Live 2. Inserts picture at the end* Scooter was well worth the ticket but not the same said for the other perfomances and the crowd I guess.
Plannings of the 2008/2009 Malaysian Night is still underway and if you're reading this and in Belfast, you BETTER attend it! I'm serious lol. Lantak ang moh, Ciina or msian all come!. (contact WJ for more details)
Thats all for now, duty/work calls!
P.s - Never go to war with yourself (lose-lose situation) but eventually you'll come outha it more matured( i certainly hope so) and understand youself a wee~ bit more(the hard way of cuz!)

Hehehe....
Pictures say more than words!
Nuff said.

Weekend away.
Currently down south in the Republic of Ireland , Navan my uncle's place to be precise this weekend. Actually feels good to be away from Belfast for a while. Away from all the worries and thoughts there. Its really like leaving all my burdens back there..
Dublin's a nice change after so much Belfast. Anyways, down to meet some relatives since my aunty Pat is going back to Msia for good next thursday. Some kinda reunion lunch as well today. My cousin Jennifer's there, haven't seen her in a while, Kelvin's back from Belgium with better french now (better than mine) in his placement year. Fatson on his long weekend and cousin Fong from Msia with her 2 kids. Urgh...kids.. Nothing against them until they cry.. until they cry..
Nice familiar feeling to be among them again but Pat wasn't too happy before this when I 'dssappeared' for 2 months in Belfast, not bothering to ring her and all.. Just need to get some stuff togther, start preparing for my semester exams in january, do some more growing up physically and emotoinally and that should be me sorted till 2009! Happy days~

Weird..
I'm currently pissed/annoyed/raging with myself and god knows what or something. Quite random, this feeling of agitation..seriously haven't felt like this in a while (since I was 14 I think), suppressing and hiding a directionless rage is not as hard as it seems actually. But honestly its good in a way, focuses my attention on my work. Doesn't seem to be caused by it either tho..
Sticking to offline on msn for now before some poor unfortunate soul comes along to piss me off.. Till then onward ho! ~

Week 3.

Week 3 already lor.. so fast.. too fast. -time flies when you're having fun I guess.
Got on the badminton team! Woohoo~ the B-team to be precise. But then we're playing the Ulster league in div 7.. wad the.. neverminds! All fun and games anyways. Can't actually remember being exhausted after a match last year in div 9.. PLUS, James and me got our new record of 21-1 (best score against an opposing pair) last season. Moved up to Div 7 lorr.. Playing with him again this year. To continue our unbeaten league streak (minus intervarsities coz we lost to galway and cork). First match this thursday anyways.. looking forward to it.
That aside, things as usual, early for all my classes today plus getting totally soaked cycling home during my lunch break (wasnt fun) OTC tomorrow night plus a 'fresher's stretch' on this weekend. So much for Raya Open house...
Yet to finish my report due this thursday. Plus a list of things at the back of my head like -'do I wanna do a YEAR placement or just a SUMMER one. The middle east looks like really cool place to do my placement.. Havta talk to Dr. Holland about this soon..
Fell asleep in Rooney's class today. Embrassing siut! First 15 mins, there was me, Jack Wong, answering most of Dr Rooney's 'quiz' being attentive and a nerd in the front row of a class of 10 people only (2 rows only) Then slowly drifted away when he dived into his power point presentation on thermodynamics. Andy tried a few times to keep me awake by suppling the odd few nudges or elbows. But the moment he stopped, I dozed off into a awkward 45 degree angle (sitting straight is 90 degrees) happily halfway to slumberland. Until Rooney's standing next to me asking if I'm ok.. the rest was history...

Zzzzzzz.....
Aaaaaa...wide awake for all the other lectures until the last one, kenot tahan man.. Feel guilty now.. Maybe I should go on with my plan to bring asam to class and pop one whenever I start drifting away to my own world..

In the army..
A while since Ive updated. End of week 2 now that its friday. Good enough weeks, busy and interesting. Yet to show my face at the canoeing club.. lol. Why did I even sign up for that in the first place when it clashes with my badminton. Got a 'special pass' to get on the team this year, i.e no need to go through the try-outs/trials and all. Justified man.. last year I sub also can't get. Was a lil disappointed that time. But somehow ended up on the C team anyways- in div 9! hahahaha... all fun and games in the end! Not forgetting the Intervarsities. Grins*
Recap- this week flew past me... It was only monday then waking up to find its already friday. Speaking of waking up, really did struggle for the first time this sem to ooze outha bed this morning. Intensive badminton last night, thats why.. Not to mention the ever-staying bloody irish rain thats loves to hang about everytime I step outside or greets me every morning when I get on my bike. Week 3 here I come! but heres the weekend to chill first! Pic: my OTC-issued uni.

First week of uni.
Back to uni!
2nd year now. AND apparently , quote Dr.Ahmed ' ..don't mean to scare yous but this is the hardest year..' wtf..
That futher backed by the Heat Transfer stuff we found ourself in during our very first lecture by Holland..gowsh.. its like trying to grab an eel in murky waters. Serious.
On the social side, gone up to the same clubs as last year and took up canoeing this year as well instead of rowing coz its 'bad' apparently (Rob)
Signed up in the OTC as well in Queens this year to see whats it like. OTC = Officer Training Corps up in the Malone road. Don't really mind the discipline now, been a lil sloppy lately.. Just signed up there today. You see the amount of forms you have to fill in and sign, even more than my visa application I think! besides a medical check up. By the way, the OTC is part of the TA (Territorial Army) in the UK. You get paid for it, 38 bucks per day at the OTC. They do all the military stuff plus 'adventures' like hiking, climbing, navigating and all that shit in different countries. So fingers crossed if I can get in and if it all goes well, I'll get my gear next wednesday (uniform and all!) How cool is that?
Nearly failed the medical test.. They have some thingy where you blow into it and it shows how hard u blow and all according to your height and age. Apparently I got narrower tubes in my lungs..so maybe thats why I didn't get the 570 for my age group but rather the 350 in the first go. The big tattooed, muscular ,mean-looking doc was actually sound and let me repeat it a few times till I got my shit together for a 500 (one needs at least 80% of the average) So I still need to clear up some paper work with them and that should be it! fingers crossed*

Trip to Lisburn

A supposingly trip down to Belvoir Park followed by swimming in the PEC somehow turned into a long cycling trip to Lisburn! Followed the 'national cycling trail' from Belfast,Ormeau Road along the river Lagan going upstream leading to Belvoir Park. Eventually got there, nothing really special or memorable besides 2 super duper steep slopes! (going up was hell but I tell you, downhill is almost worth the effort! the adrenalin! from cycling! now I know why some people do off road biking and all..) makes you kinda think on the way down -'wait, a bike is not supposed to go this fast! as in reeeeeaaally fast! but after nosing around, wasnt really satisfied with what I found or rather set out to discover so on the way out, just wondered where does this OTHER way lead to? and to satisfy my curiosity (plus wander-lust) I took the 'other' way which infact lead me to Lisburn town 11 miles down the path...

Was worth it! Good weather anyways so don't get too much of that now around here.

Sleep..
Ever woke up after a deep dreamy sleep only to find yourself in a unfamiliar place (at first glance), alone in a dark room when you remembered before this you only took a NAP in the afternoon?
Yea, it was 5am in the morning when I got up confused. No longer at home, rather in my cousin's house in Navan, half the world away. But now that both of them are away, the room's empty and I vaguely remembered I wanted to take a nap only the previous evening!... It was jet-lag alright! Maybe the exhaustion from travelling kas well...

Kepala pun rojak...
Rite,as the title would suggest, my head is scrambled! Leaving for Dublin on the 3rd now. Last day and a half tomorrow and wednesday. Plans are already stacking up for tmr. Some even overlapping.. Will try and straight them out now after this. Damn.. hate to let people down. Hence making promises that I might havta compromise on some of them. Ahhh... reminder* better fix this or rather get rid of this stupiak habit.
Goina continue packing after this. Cramming all the stuff (especially foodstuff) into my lugages and the 30kilos im allowed.
Meet up with some friends today at leo's. Rained when we left. Even goina miss the weather and rain.. hate this part of my summer. The 'goodbye' part-
But wad-the-heck I'll stick up to it as I did every year.
2nd year lies ahead. Its goina be tough but as the saying goes, 'as the going gets tough, the tough gets going.'
Goina continue packing after this. Cramming all the stuff (especially foodstuff) into my lugages and the 30kilos im allowed.

1 more day!
Monday, 25th August. Dad's birthday! I actually forgotten about it until one of my siblings told me and I quickly saved it into my phone's calender.. Me being a useless son? maybe.. That aside, won't be bothered to do the other post on Pangkor. Its all in the head. Thats where it needs to be. Well, check out -Chong's Other Blog' under the links then if you are still curious. Pictures and and a pretty good summary available there thanks to Chong. - http://romanticwalksareboring.blogspot.com/ -
One more day to the by elections results. haih...the amount of mud-slinging one may ask thats going on. Evidently more from the ruling party Barisan National. Damn obvious... not to say that majority of the media is also biased. Quite disappointing one la.. But I do sincerely wish victory for the opposition, PKR. Fingers crossed now. BN's desperation could be as dangerous or treacherous as a cornered wild beast. Actually can't wait for some certain party to publish Annuar's biography in a book. Would be interesting I think.. his rise and fall from power and plotting his comeback quoted a foriegn diplomat - one man versus the system. The wait continues...

20.08.2008- Pangkor Part 1.
Back from Pangkor Island yesterday evening. Pretty fun trip afterall! Enjoyed it more than the previous Genting trip anyway. (no offense meant!) 4 days and 3 nights at Teluk Nipah and yea, we actually just stayed there the whole duration. Well, its not like theres too much to see in the other parts of Pangkor. Besides, that was my 4th trip there. Goina summarize it chronologically-
Day 1. Off to KL to catch a morning bus. I told the fellas (Jin and Chong) that we don't really have to book the bus ticket in advance. Wheres the fun in running around trying to plan the next step. Thats how I live my life. Think on my feet. So we got the 12.30 bus and around 2 hors to spare. Could it be any better? Always wanted to go 'hangkai' in Petaling Street for a long time so I jumped on this idea immediately not to forget my so called 'elixer of life' , 'heaven juice' which is known to most Malaysians as 'air mata kucing' ....legendary stuff man...
Got on the bus, sat next to a french woman and her brother. I understood french so blam*interesting convo there to keep me occupied on the 4 hour bus journey to Lumut. Got to Lumut at aroung 4. Wobble around for a while talking to some malay uncle fishing near the jetty. Exchange info, i sometimes fish there as well at night. (by the way, my hometown is actually in Ayer Tawar..so this was familiar turf) Parent's hometown, correction. Ferry 2 way = 10 bucks. Made a bet with Chong that the ferry journey is actually less than 40 mins as he claimed. And on the stakes were the chance for me to bury him on the beach over the trip. Set the stop watch and by the time we were approaching Pangkor's jetty, i mulling over how deep i actially wanna bury the fella! nailed it!
Taxi to Teluk Nipah, to our hotel/chalet - Pangkor Indah chalet. What i actually missing now is a load of super cun pics... hahahaha, I apologise for the lack of pictures but you (reader/pak gua) should find some at http://romanticwalksareboring.blogspot.com/. Chong's blog. End of day one, we went for Pangkor's famed ikan bakar at some malay stall.... super damn long wait with lousy service. Lesson learned..

You'll know your limit when you get there...
Damn tired. Looks like age kinda caught up with me heh? Woke up this morning and felt exhausted and light-headed. Just got back from kampung yesterday. Deep sea fishing over the weekend as well for 3 days and 2 nights.. Guess when you add that to travelling back from kampung and train-hopping in Pudu, you'll get a tired Wong! lol. First time I felt this tired in ages. Guess Im not superman anyway. But I'm back in Subang anyway now. Smile!

Im too lazy to post anything else..
What Your Soul Really Looks Like |
You are very passionate and quite temperamental. While you can be moody, you always crave comfort. You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. You feet may be on the ground, but you're head is in the clouds. You see yourself with pretty objective eyes. How you view yourself is almost exactly how other people view you. Your near future is calm, relaxing, and pretty much what you want. And it's something you've been anticipating for a while now. For you, falling in love is all about flirting and feeling playful. You couldn't fall in love with someone who took life too seriously. |

Fishing adventure!
Just back from my 9 day stay at Sitiawan. Took the bus, nothing bad about it.. not that I've taken a worst one in Cambodia before from middle-of-no-where to Siam Reap so I guess it helps to be appreciative.
Trip back was pretty interesting and what should I say? -gastronomical pleasing? Yea, durian everyday. Thats the life man.. I think I actually put on around 3-5 kg after this trip. Experienced kampung badminton- bared chest, sweaty and bared footed kampung men vs fancy-smancy city badminton? Only experience makes up for the odds. Really have to sweat it out and stretch to over come the difference.
Legendary 'kampuang' noodles almost every morning to start the day. Fishing was the other highlight of the trip. Have to do a little babysitting due to the presence of my 3 little cousins (noisy too!) when we visited the Sungkai hot springs.
Wei Liang,a cousin of mine is back for the weekend from his uni in Kampar. We together continued the Wong-family's tradition of fishing(as a sport). Now that he can drive, we almost knew no limits for each fishing trip. Eg- friday night- Lumut 9pm - 1am then the next morning 8am-4pm... I will try and upload some of the few pictures taken in that duration. Got a little burnt as well in our 2km walk n' fish at Pasir Panjang (now I know why they call it so).
Thats all for now. I will be back..

License to drive! -not!
Saya ada lesen L!!!
-
but...
damn mafan, have to change address on IC to perak.. due to some restriction the JPJ side. Idiots..
Pass undang on the first try - 45/50, go fishing and feed mosquito every night. Didnt bring my cable for phone-pc. Took some pics of the fishies I caught..including a 2 inch 'big-eye fish' on a 3 inch lure. weird..
Must have put on weight since thursday, diet of 4 meals a day plus snacks in the evening. Ais-kacang everyday! Glorious foood!!! Pretty satisfied (stomach) and trying to control myself now. Control... went for a run this morning at some padang nearby a run which is more like a jog thats all and yes, I have no stamina now...
Considering joining some badminton comp in Pantai Remis this weekend with my cousin, but banyak plans clash wooorr..Back in KL now anyway. Superb fish curry at the restaurant behind my house last night. Funny thing in Ayer Tawar at a restaurant we went which is famous for its fish dish, ALL the tables there during lunch ordered the same few dishes.. Stole a small 'Sitiawan' sign by the highway for sovenir! Would look nice in my room in Belfast :D We couldn't find the 'Ayer Tawar' one tho..

I is HOME!
As the title might suggest- its obvious right?
Yet another dodgy flight home. Exactly the same senario I found myself in last year. Flight delayed in Dublin, run to catch the connecting flight, luggage left behind, etc, etc. -Sien. Found out, getting good at dealing with close-shaves hehe.. flight from dublin at 5.20pm , jijiman stuck in a traffic-4.30pm. Skipped a queue terus check in only to sit in the plane later for 1 hour ON the ground due to some chaotic air-trafficking on the Dublin side...
Luggage flew home at 6am this morning. Now just waiting for it to be delivered to me. Not forgetting that nearly half of the stuff in it isn't mine...
Good to be home anyways. Lucky enough as the weather yesterday was pretty cloudy so there was no 'oven door' effect at KLIA. Seafood at Klang last night -my family's postponed 'reunion dinner' =.= Kesiannya.. Then took a walk at some new shopping centre there called Aeon? Tried to look for a pair of slippers there only to find some rip-off offers- croc brand I think it was @ RM129 ?! Seriously, they look like the 10 ringgit ones you can get from pasar la wei... So still have to get a pair of slippers , and a local number here.
Since my clothes are in my luggage, I'm only down to a pair of jeans, my lucky/favourite underwear , a few pair of socks plus 2 apek-ish shirts.. memang apek anyway. Haih..
OK! plans so far, balik kampung for driving lessons next friday, then blank, blank x 3 , trying to confirm the beach trip on the 8th of july , a deep sea fishing trip for 3 days!! on the 8 of august-NICE, -I like! Last time all go only for 2 days , hehe..this time, 3 days! - heaven on a smelly fishing boat in the straits of Malacca! Can't wait..
Go mamak last night with Jin also weird, the fella said I come fetch you, I mah go out and wait loorr.. mana tau got 1 proton outside with tinted front seat window so I presumed it was him plus his bro ,walk up to it grinning the-'haven't seen ya in a while',doors locked mah tapped on the window, fellas looked around and open the door I opened the door and just wonder clem got new car meh? (who told me?..) looked at the two guys and tried to match their 'profiles' with clem and jin only to think 'what the hell?!' they also gong-gong one open the door for me... It was just pure confusion until I asked- 'jin?',they look like they haven't a single clue as well in the world until I burped - 'sorry wrong car!'

Gimme 2 more days!
Going home on friday-
Should arrive on saturday if I don't repeat what happened last year.
The same question every summer- 'what are you going to to in this 3 months?'
Think! Think!...
Lets see, I will..
- learn how to drive (overdue)
- spend time with family (how?)
- visit gramp
- makan!
And I could..
- learn/improve another language -french/mandarin
- go for badminton training somewhere.
- work but how? I'll be in sitiawan for sometime I think.
- try and do something productive like what I haven't a clue!
- travel abit.
I need something to do!!
or else I'll be a bum again and probably take the dole if they have one for jobless/nothing-to-do/on summer break students in malaysia.
Dalam perkembangan lain, we lost the cup to the Northern Irish golf society for 4 years in a row again on tuesday. Despite winning 8 points up playing home in St Margerets, we failed to make up for the lost points in the away match at Ardglass the week before. Its a lil dissappointing to play below average and fail to perform when needed. I guess the verdict is I need more practice before each match to at least make it go smooth. Also have to thank my uncle for bringing me into this sport/ sponsoring equipment and letting me tag around to try so many different golf courses..
I will try to live up to his reputation! practice for next year! but no time now here..laaa...

Messy, messy ,..not!!
Huh...heck of a a week and a half huh? Was for me anyway. Emotionally drained for a while, stressed etc, etc but that felt like a loong time ago. I just guess we pick the pieces up and move along in life.
I do hate the fact that I crave for attention quite often (sounds very vain there) sighs* but then again yea, family/relatives are extremely appreciated. They speed up the recovery process I guess. I feel very grateful for them. They always care for you even when you think they are pissed , it turns out they are more worried than annoyed! smiles* :D
Eg, last fri, down from Belfast to Navan cause summoned to work for uncle as waitress was sick. Long story short, I reached there at 8pm wondering damn...i was supposed to work at like 5? Could imagine Ding (uncle) being annoyed about it. Turned out to be a warm reception like a prodigal son... (I haven't been down here in a while) Plus the reason why he wants me down is for the match on tuesday against the North so I can follow them up north plus to get some practice with him.. (I should be gratefully instead of bitchin' about having to travel down..)
I have been an ungratefully swine quite often to my friends and family. (also due to 'selective hearing' by certain parties) Have to appreciate them more.. Always there to pick you up when you fall.
And why do we fall in the first place?
- to learn to pick ourselves up!
So its over, my (proper) relationship also not too serious in the first place but extremely hairy towards the end (and after it) *faster press 'purge' button! and buy loads of mouth wash!!! lol. Yea might take a break for a while (6 'flings' in the space of 12 months?) goina try and spend time with one woman espeacially in the next 3 months - my very own mom/mama/mere/mother! I miss her honestly.. but secretly hope she's not too restrictive this summer..(I'm 18 afterall, a 'man' hehe..)
Balik Malaysia on the 20th by the way. -Petrol naik 72 sen , a grim reminder of the situation there.. can't be too bad now. The food is always there! :P Appetite also recovering. Good sign. Lucky I moved out of Guthrie House..really had trouble sleeping on that bed (which explains why I fell asleep right after moving my stuff into the new house, didn't even open the boxs--Tiduuurrr..Zzzzz)
About the house pulak, next year move in with 4 girls.. :( *sad face , kidding! Happy to move in with them but I can't lock my door! have to fix that otherwise compromise privacy... Better make myself more usefull around the house. Haven't really do anything to help yet. (ffk on the 9th as well when ppl came to fix internet- my head is on a spike for this..) Should be back up there on wednesday and spend the last weekend up there for the summer , try and get a jump in as well- have the tickets anyway. Might as well.. St Margerets next tuesday when we play home against the North-ies. So back down on monday kua..
Then 20th -balik! (fish-head kari behind-my-house- USJ 14 here I come!!!)

Post ke-101!
Its official , plenty of things happened between this post and the last. I just took on of the bitter-est pill so far in life- the break up one.
Honestly, its more like a sandwich - with a bitter top of betrayal and a bitter bottom then of separating. its up to the individuals to put what ever filling you want between the two. Swt* I didn't want the standard putus semua ABC , 123 normal , hard way break. Ended up with a weird one then.
Was extremely diplomatic, heard her side of the story first, cleared stuff up. Despite warnings to avoid being 'jilted' I knew shes not like that , dropped the bomb, tears shed etc.. blah blah.. explain stuff-
Yea,imagine breaking up THEN later sitting down to do a sort of review over the relationship, like a post-break up review together. Things you thought the other party said and did etc.. Weird. Then again its just demoting a relationship to close friends you know and literally did.
Quite proud of myself for handling it well at that time and pitied her when she wanted to go back to Dublin after a 2 and a half hour journey up you know. No freaking person would like to journey that far just to get dumped. So stayed over loor..
Classmates had a movie night out that night so we met them after the movie at the Stiff Kitten- but we stil acted like we're together. Things were ok, after the bar, headed home but then thought of going out somewhere so yea -
'Ever wondered what a gaybar is like?...'
Nearly decided to go (The Kremlin) a joke leads to another and everything went hair-wired and ended up making out for almost the whole night? After you break up?
WTF?! -mind you now, only making out..
Only to both agree -'we should have done this a looooong time ago...'
Maybe things could have been different then.
Only remember sleeping at 4 something..waking at 7 again..
BUT this was pretty fucked up- After breaking up?
WEIRD but pleasant. Least to say.
Anyways the leaving part was as you could imagine pretty damn wrenching. Lucky I can hide emotions (like any other males) by just 'stoning'
And yes I do have a few outbreaks (no cry) - (man no cry :P ) now and then when your stupid Itunes put on cheesy/emo songs so pull at your heart strings..
Can't flipping sleep now. Not on my own bed anyway haih.. Just can't.. Considering sleeping on the floor tonight.
Damnit!
Damnitt!!
Damnittt!!

Damnit!

3 more days!
Last paper on friday - Chemical Process Principles 1.
How sweet of them to save the best for the last. Its goina be a heck of a paper for most of us as we can't really understand heat transfer coefficients. lol.
Haih..what to do, telan bulat-bulat la. Theres, Fluid Flow in PIPES,-of all things.. PUMPS?! (damn interesting) Fluid Dynamics and Statics blah blah blah as well.
But could you imagine the sweet freedom that lays beyond 12.30am Friday 30th may? - I tell you, priceless.. (like them mastercard ads) lol. I've a sinking feeling that some of my plans undoubtedly clash or overlap. I'll see how it goes anyway.
-Jin and Bone2 going NS! XD
Jijiman /is-
-getting a bike!
-Bike as in leg-powered one..
-broke the strings to his much beloved racquet! :(
-kicked Liang's and Trishnan's ass in singles doing so.
-lil bored. 3 more days..
-caught a spider the size of my thumb nail and called it Bubu but he escaped when I left him under a shuttle. swt* tats how bored I was.
-Still wondering if a person could EVER forget to swim- ???
-Bemoaning the fact that he's gotha travel home with his aunt Pat and nephew (means I've to change the date for the flight -again- and pay $$$, plus so much for travelling solo)
-reading a book on D-day.
-wondering if he's really goina cycle to Slane?
-thinks Hung's vietnamese friend is hot~
-still faithful to Yisha.
-also missing her..
-wonders what my mum would say about her.
-wonders if he should tell in the first place..
-looks forward to getting his driving license :D
-thinks heat transfer is boring.
-fought of the temptation to get a take-away just now (caused tired wad..)
-reminds himself never to press ESC while watching a movie on Veoh.
-is listening to Linkin Park's Pushing Me Away.
-realises he has quite alot of stuff to move next week..
-wants to watch Indiana Jones
-fantasises to be Ironman...(was jack sparrow previously)
-should be doing past paper questions on pumps instead of extending this list..
-should go to bed actually.
-loves Electric Six, they make him smile..
-still wants to play Halo 3
-hence plans to buy an X-box 360 next year.
-is chatting to yisha now.
-will go to bed soon...

Of burning stuff and fire alarms...

26 May, Guthrie House did not realise how close it came to another fire alarm, the cause - an experiment attempting to fry an (a few) eggs with the shell still on.
Procedures-
1) - boil eggs in a pot half filled with water (H2O source - paip)
2) - keep boiling the eggs past the boiling point. At the vapour pressure preferably.
3) - leave kitchen and watch tv and try and stimulate a forced amnesia (wad eva way u want)
4) - Once water evaporated, eggs begins to fry..(shell) But remember, you have to 'fry' past the shell first e.g. burn through the shell...
5) - realise in horror that you only wanted to boil it... XD

Reality check.
Its been what?, 2 months and something like 11 dates I've been going out with Yisha. Overall, she IS a nice gal albeit a weird one... complimented by the disturbing fact that she likes to wear wigs as a fashion statement or wouldn't mind being a les.. T.T (3-some anyone?)LOL..
I personally detest the wigs but then again-she IS pretty tolerant , you have to give her credit for that now. Diligent enough in her studies , passionate about her country and pretty open. I guess only time would tell huh? time will tell...
Its no secret sometimes I wish she's Malaysian instead of Chinese (my mandarin is improving by the way! -I think..) cause there would be so much more to relate to or joke about, compared to the current super-patriotic-I-heart*-China spirit. I'm not saying its bad, its just different I guess.
Well the summer is here to put this relationship to a test. Assuming it survives there would be a slightly brighter future then! :)

Terjun Jamban..~

16/05/08 -
Hafiz Hashim aka belacan boy had the chance to be a national hero in a deciding match of the Thomas Cup 2008 in Stadium Senora , Indonesia...
.
..
...
....
and blew it.
Malaysia then bowed out 3-2 against defending and most likely reigning champions-
CHINA.
Hopes of Thomas Cup returning to Malaysian soil -'terjun jamban' at that very moment B.Boy is drawn up against Chen Jin.... SWT*

1 down , 3 to go!
Further maths done , chopped up, stored away, kapish ,finished , finir.
Compared this mathes test and the previous- a good bit of difference. Especially the lack of a sinking feeling in your guts after finishing it this time.
No badminton for 2 weeks! T.T tangan pun gatal..have to watch matches on youtube instead.
Msia V China in Thomas Cup! ~ semi-finals

All bared out tomorrow in a titantic clash- Chong Wei V Lin Dan...
*drools..
Hopefully Msia can retake the coverted cup la instead of it going back to China for the 3rd time in a row.
I gotha give them credit to take on China head on unlike the Koreans who took the easy and cowardly way (find out more yourself).
So its do or die time! -
Come on Msia!
Msia Boleh!

Operation Failed~
Watched the first part of 'The Kingdom' the other day (yesterday) if you know the movie its about terrorist/jihad/9-11 etc in Saudi Arabia.
-pretty interesting..
Just after watching bits of it, some Egyptian(Mohammad) guy from downstairs walked pass my window (3rd floor)
I'm not too sure what happened but I think a water balloon slipped outha my hands, outha window and down to him on the phone!

Bloody thing didn't burst tho!

Wicklow Re-Visit.
A series of events repeated itself in Wicklow again...
~ another crazy, adrenalin-fueled paintball shootout!

It was an event under the banner of the Penang Medical School, so many thanks to the, for the last minute extra space for me and Yisha.
51 people all together, so thats 25 on 26.
I was a 'turncoat' apparently (according to some ppl) suppose to be in the 'blue team' but swapped with someone to be with the Reds since Yisha's there as well. Turned out, jumping teams was a good idea as we won in the end~ same team with Jay = 1st and 2nd in laserquest the last time we went. So we had the best rep. from QUB konon..hehe.
No offense to the blues, but at a few stages of the game it was like a turkey shoot!
~After action report~
1st game/arena , 2nd match - both teams were suppose to assault a walled position and try and capture it and raise plus defend the flag on the position.
Them Blue-ys got there first and were trying to utilise the cover of the wall against our meagre cover of scantily scattered trees. We charged them even when they had cover. Reached the front part of the wall and a few of us hid behind the barrels. I think they were confused and busy raising the flag as we popped out and just 'sprayed' them...
I personally remember greasing 3 of them clustered together-close range up the middle at the 'gate' and shot a fella with green shiny shoes later behind some tayars who confused my shoutings of '...you're SHOT!,..GO!, GO! ..GO!!..(you're suppose to respawn at the dead zone once shot) he thought it was his team-mates saying go forward.. poor sucker. I had to shoot him a few more times to pass the message. Mind you, we were quite near to each other so it hurts! ~on his part..
The initial follow-up wave flatters but regrouped and took the wall after the few stubborn 'first-wavers' cleared some of the Blues out. What follows was insane..
We climbed on to the wall and reversed the Blues , they had no cover AT ALL save some bushes futher down. Everyone just joined us and started shooting at them, without cover out in the open at the wrong side of that wooden wall as I raised the RED FLAG.....memorable.

A quickie..
'..Sitting by the door, fully aware he's the first to go and staring out into the rain- this can't get any worst he thought. First to go is always uncomfortable. Like venturing into the dangerous unknown or like the first few men ashore on Normandy on the D-day landings.A few deep breathes ,clenching of the fist-not a sign of fear more like to make sure his hands are not numb should the need arise to pull the reserve.
The craft came to a slowdown as it reached its destination followed by the orders- 'feet out!'. As he sat at the door, feet dangling out 3,500 feet from the relative safety of the ground, he waited.. and waited..for what could easily be eternity for the specific order - 'GO!!!' and it came.. plunging into nothing only depended on a 2 inch wide rope to trigger his salvation.
What if it snapped? What if it didn't happened? -He wasn't thinking about that, he thought- 'Owh...shit!!! I forgot to count!!!' and seconds later a huge umbrella opened up about him.
He was me.
I'm on 3!
Yay!!!
