Pretty Pink Posh – Valentine Ladybug!

Hello there my sweet little ladybugs! How are you today?! I hope this week is going great for you. The sun is finally shining here – dang we have had a lot of rain! The sunshine feels good and I am in the mood for Springtime! The good thing about January is that things get back to normal and our usual routine… I kind of like that actually. Started a new Theology class, my meetups are going again…. It’s all good. The only thing is that I wish I had more time for crafting!! (So many projects, so little time!)

Of course I’m sharing my card here too! I used products from the brand new Pretty Pink Posh January release. My Lucky card from the 5th was also part of this new release – it’s so good.

Today’s card features the brand new Ladybug Shaker Dies, the new Banner Greetings dies and stamps and the Lovely Ladybugs stamp set. I combined the new items with some of my older favs. Don’t you love how everything works together perfectly from every release? My finished card is a white A2 card base. I layered on black gingham and then two white panels (eyelets and then the XO plate)…. The focal point is of course that giant Ladybug!

Here’s the side view to show you all my layers! I die cut the XOXO plate and then trimmed it to fit inside the Eyelet Rectangle. It adds another layer and some visual interest while still being all white! I splattered on some black paint splatters too. The flowers are white with yellow ink blending and then Stickles on the yellow centers.

I felt like this little lady needed a bow of some sort! Ha! She is so perfect for Valentine’s Day with her heart spots and heart feelers. I dunno, a bow just seemed like a good idea! Red gingham for the win.

Here’s a close up of the paper layers. Also, you can see that I gently inked the edges of the black parts of the ladybug using white pigment ink and a sponge dauber. Then I added white gel pen accents!

I wanted some kind of floral element on this card so I chose these small daisies for a bit of a pop of a different color and more visual interest. I love that fresh green too!

I LOOOOOOVE the new Banner Greetings Dies! Like love love. I used the new Banners to stamp my sentiment and mounted it across the ladybug body. Everything is popped up with foam dots.

First up is the Letterbox! Like seriously I cannot stand it. The most adorable mailbox you ever saw! The cardboard shape is incredibly sturdy and thick and the addition of those pink ‘rivets’ just make the entire thing…. The stickers and all the supplies to make the heart garland come in the kit also. I forgot to take a photo of the bottom – but the bottom pops out (easily) so you can put little letters and/or gifts inside of the box. Genius. I AM OBSESSED!!!

Next up is the Heartfelt Kit…. This kit makes a large wall hanging or stand alone home decor piece – made from pom poms!! Your kit includes the beautiful framed heart and all the pom poms your pom pom loving heart could want! The glue is also included and this is the most fun kit to put together!!

Pretty Pink Posh – January 2025 New Release! You’re my Lucky Charm!

Hello my sweet crafty friends! Happy New Year! 2026 can you believe it? Wow! I wish you a blessed and happy and peaceful new year. I hope your year is full of laughter and love, and of course, crafting! We had a crazy holiday season this year with me being back at work full time. I’m like what day is it? Am I supposed to go to work today? Is it the weekend? What day is church? Hahahaha. But, as always, we survived the holidays. Now the sun is shining and it’s time to put everything away and get back to ‘normal’ life! Hope you are doing great today! As the new year starts, we begin crafting for Spring, and I love that. I have lots of awesome Valentine goodies that have already arrived in my craft room. Can’t wait to show you everything!

I’m here today with a FUN and FABULOUS new release from Pretty Pink Posh. As usual, Paulina knocked it out of the park. This new release is available now. It’s everything you can think of for Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day! I love it all! I made a couple of cards and I’ll be sharing more here and on Instagram. I swear the ideas flow so hard whenever I see what PPP has for us! The products are magic I think!

For my card today – release day – I am featuring tons of brand new items: The Bear Holder, The new Pinking Rectangles, the new Horseshoe Shaker, the new Lucky to Know You Stamp Set and more! My finished card is a white A2 card base, layered with green gingham (of course) and a white layer that I ink blended in golden shades…. You guys know that my kitty cat is named Lucky, because he was born on St. Patrick’s Day and he has big green eyes! He is my lucky charm for sure! Here I made that cutie new bear into a Leprechaun!!

I stamped that perfect sentiment in green this time! I hardly ever stamp a sentiment in a color – but I think it fits! Of course there are matching dies too – to make it professional and perfect. In this side view you can see all my layers…

Here’s a close up of that adorable new bear – the newest addition to the holder dies suite! You can make him any kind of bear by changing the colors! I made a teddy bear, but you could make him a polar bear or even a panda! I added pink cheeks and some white gel pen accents. I gave him a classy top hat! Hee hee.

I sprinkled a few extra shamrocks around the card. The big horseshoe is die cut from gold glitter cardstock – like a pot o’ gold! I think I heard him say Top O’ The Morning to you!

Concord & 9th Christmas Cards and Instagram Hop!

Hey hey friends! How are you today? It’s two weeks until Christmas! (Otherwise known as my husband’s birthday!) SO much happening this time of year, and I am ready and excited. Hope your Christmas preparations are going well and hope that you are enjoying the magic of the season. We’ve been out and about doing things, craft fairs, church events, Christmas lights, meeting up with friends, and of course shopping! Today I am sharing something fun – it’s a big end of the year Instagram Hop with Concord and 9th! I am posting my projects here on my blog too of course, but please head over to Instagram to see ALL the projects! I’m calling this post – cheerful jolly holidays! I have two cards to show you. Everything can be found on the Concord & 9th website!!

My first card features one of my favorite things of the whole season – this adorable stamp/stencil/die combo Jolly St. Nick! He is a giant Santa that fits onto an A2 card, or you could make him into a tag or shaped card. I absolutely am smitten! My finished card is an A2 white card base layered with red and stenciled snowflakes…. Then the Santa image. The stamp set comes with sentiments that fit perfectly onto his beard area. The whole thing is just CUTE! I added glitter glue to the white parts of his hat. I used Concord and 9th ink pads to stencil everything… I hope he makes you smile too.

My second card for today features the brilliantly pretty Yuletide Lane stamps and dies! You know I love me some Christmas cottages! My finished card is an A2 white card base layered with patterned paper from C9 from a couple years ago…. Then that gorgeous cozy cottage. It’s so fun to mix and match windows and doors and wreaths…. Even perfectly matching snow drifts for the roof!! I’m imagining myself inside watching Christmas movies by the fire with some cocoa…. I love this festive color palette with a bit of blue thrown in for good measure.

The Greetery – Joy to the World!

Good morning friends! Happy Friday! I hope you are enjoying the holiday season. It’s in full swing and it’s coming fast. Christmas will be here soon. I am enjoying the preparations and the work parties, and the wrapping and the decorating! It’s been a while since I worked in an office during the holidays and it’s been fun wearing all my Christmas clothes and decorating our office. We had a wonderful staff Christmas party on Wednesday too. Ho Ho Holidays! I have not been crafting too much. I am taking my own advice and showing myself some grace. I am still getting used to working full time and trying to fit in everything else…..so I’m not putting immense pressure on myself to be creative. I guess I just needed a little break. I do have a pretty project to share with you today though! It’s my turn on The Greetery blog and I used one of my favorite product suites to make this card!

My finished card is an A2 white card base, layered with woodgrain and vellum (I love the mix of textures) and then that gorgeous floral spray. My card features the Banner and Bough suite of stamps, stencils and dies. I also used some other festive greenery and a big gold snowflake. I used Traditional red and green but then popped in some pretty blue for the sentiment.

I started the card by stenciling the Banner and Bough stencils onto white cardstock using Distress Inks. Then I did the stamped portions and then die cut out the bouquet. Here is my side view to show you the layers… Of course I added glitter and pearls. This card has a bit of an old fashioned classic Christmas vibe….

I splashed everything generously with gold paint! I love just that bit of shimmer that adds to a project. I used chunky glitter to also make it sparkle. I do love those finishing touches!!

Happy Thanksgiving 2025!

Hi friends! What a year this has been! Truly so many things to be grateful for! My motto in life is “grace and gratitude” and that always gets me through. Remember to give grace to yourself and others, and remember that there is always something to be grateful for. Each day brings new challenges, but also new miracles. Look around you…really, what ISN’T a miracle? It’s all amazing – and it’s a matter of a perspective shift. This year has been so busy and the Thanksgiving weekend will be my first days off since I started back to work full time. I’m really looking forward to some down time with the hubs! I am wishing you and your family the most wonderful Thanksgiving. I am very grateful for everyone here who has a kind word for me and those that keep me going with their encouragement. THANK YOU! I took the photo below last week in the parking lot at work – isn’t she a beauty?

The Greetery – Christmas Gallerie Collection – Showcase Day!

Hello my dear crafty friends! Today is a fun and exciting day! There’s a new release coming from The Greetery this week! (Tomorrow in fact!)…. I do so love introducing a new release to you. It is my joy and pleasure to be among the first to show you all the beautiful products. The new release is called Christmas Gallerie Collection! Stamps, Dies, Embossing Folders and more! All with a Winter/Christmas theme. Perfect for making cards and tags or whatever else suits your fancy. The new release is class and elegant and I made it vintage too! These products just gave me vintage vibes!

Today I’m sharing FOUR projects here, and then TOMORROW you can shop it all! Yeah! I have lots of info and lots of pictures. At the end of my post you will find the prize info and the links to the other designers’ blogs.

My first card for today features the brand new Capsule Christmas Gallery Prints, the brand new Capsule Filigree Dies, the new Regency Bow and the new Holly dies (and MORE)! Lots going on here and I couldn’t love it more. The Gallery Prints are gorgeous vintage Christmas images that you can use in your projects! I used the pretty street scene here. My finished card is an A2 card base layered with plaid paper and woodgrain paper….

Here’s a close up shot of the perfect new Holly Dies! I inked them, and added snow and glitter, and all the yummy things to make it Wintery.

The sentiment is from last month’s new release – put onto a banner and inked with distress inks! I used foam tape to adhere just the ends and the bowed it out from the bottom of the card.

ACK! How much do you love this new bow?? There are TWO new bows in this release! They are called Regency Bows. I used red and gold for this one….

It’s kind of hard to see in the photo, but I used a small paintbrush and brushed on some paste/snow onto the actual picture. I also added sparkly glitter to make the scene look icy and cool.

My next card features a new addition to the Shortbread Shapes – this one is called Shortbread Shapes Snowflake! Stunning!!! The embossing folder is lovely! My card also features the brand new Poinsettia Dies. My finished card is a 5.25″ x 5.25″ square kraft card base. I layered black gingham on top and then the center of the Shortbread Snowflake… With a classic poinsettia in the center…

Here’s a close up of that perfectly perfect poinsettia! Of course I added snow splatters and icy rock candy glitter everywhere!

I used the embossing folder and die cut out the star shaped piece from the center. I used cream cardstock and then inked over it with Antique Linen distress ink for added detail on the design. I mounted a kraft circle tag and then the poinsettia.

My next card features the brand new Capsule products for winter…. The Capsule Holiday Borders!! My card also features the second of two new Holly Dies, and the second of two Regency Bows! My finished card is an A2 cream card base layered with snowflake patterned paper. My focal point is layers of the Capsule Basics with different elements added….

Here’s a close up of the new Holly dies!

I die cut some gold glitter snowflakes and placed them on the card. I edged the pieces with distress ink to age it a bit. The new stamps stamp this pretty holly border perfectly around the capsule shape.

And finally – some Christmas tags! The Greetery always comes up with the most clever and beautiful ideas for tags every year… This year, there are two versions of tags! I used the Large Linked Labels (say that three times fast) to make these gift tags. I used the new Hang it Up dies for the tops! These are tags that die cut and then emboss like a dream in the matching embossing folder!

The details on these embossed portions is incredible! I used traditional cream, red, green and gold! Can’t wait to tie these onto some packages.

The Greetery – Gingerbread Marketplace Card!

Hello crafty people! I’m up on The Greetery Blog today sharing my bonus card for November! How fast did fall go by this year? It’s going to be Christmas here very quickly! And that means time to finish (or start LOL) all the pretty Christmas cards! I had one other idea from the last new release that I didn’t get made in time for release week. So I thought I would share it with you today. Didn’t you just love the Marketplace Collection? Exquisite! My idea was to take the Marketplace buildings and make them gingerbread. That’s what I have for you today, pretty row houses with a classic gingerbread vibe.

My finished card is a white A2 card base, layered with red and kraft. For my color palette, I used mainly kraft and white to mimic traditional gingerbread houses. Little pops of red and green make it perfect for the holidays. My card features the brand new Marketplace Mini dies – which are now, thankfully, back in stock!

I started by die cutting out the three houses from kraft cardstock. I die cut out all the accent pieces from white cardstock to look like frosting! I next used the Holiday Festoons Dies set to die cut wreaths and bows from red and green cardstock. I assembled all the pieces and then generously splattered on some white paint snow! I used vellum behind the windows for a frosty look. I did also add some sparky, chunky glitter.

The sentiment was gold heat embossed onto black paper using the Rosemal Reflections Sentiments stamps and dies.

For the background layer I used white pigment ink on the kraft cardstock and stamped the lovely Hymn Sing stamp. I love that stamp! The perfect Christmas background…. I die cut a few gold accents also.

I attached the houses to the card using foam squared to make everything pop just a little. I added a couple of enamel hearts from my stash. This card is so yummy and Christmas-y!

More fun with the PPP Winter new release – Joyful Penguin Wishes!

Hello friends! I’m here today with a second card I made with the lovely and cute new Winter 2025 release from Pretty Pink Posh! I shared my first card last week, and today I have another sweet penguin card! Today’s card is part of the huge multi day Instagram Hop for the PPP new release. I love a good Instagram Hop! I feel like these fun new penguins are perfect for both generally Winter cards and for Christmas cards. Last week I made a winter card…. So today I made him a Christmas Santa Penguin. LOLZ. I also made him an igloo at the North Pole, complete with a candy cane decoration for his porch!

My finished card is a white A2 card base, layered with pretty red gingham and then a crisp white eyelet rectangle. My card features the brand new Penguin Holder dies, the new Igloo Shaker Dies, and the new Winter Trees! Of course, I also combined in some favorites from the Christmas release! I love his hat – and I always love a candy cane theme….

Here’s the side view of my layers… I die cut out everything and gently inked the edges of the die cut pieces. I used an icy blue to shade the igloo, and then coated it with sparkly glitter. I added white gel pen accents to everything too (of course)!

The candy canes are from the Christmas Holder Additions – they are perfect! In this pic you can better see the igloo too…. The sentiment is from the Christmas Banner Greetings set, and I do indeed think he looks joyful! I die cut a shimmery snowflake for him to hold.

I used black enamel dots for the penguin eyes – I think that makes them look more alive – when they are shiny like that.
