Archival materials may be viewed on campus, Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Many of the audio and video materials have been digitized and can be made available to view remotely via a non-downloadable, password-protected link. Print materials must be viewed on-site.

AFI does not allow reproduction of print materials; photocopying and photography is prohibited.

The Louis B. Mayer Library is located on the AFI Campus at 2021 N. Western Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90027. The Library is the third building on campus as visitors go up the hill and can be identified by a clock tower. The entrance to the Library is on the second floor.

Parking reservations are encouraged and can be made when setting up an appointment to guarantee a space in front of the Library on the day(s) of visitation.

Print, as well as audio and video materials, can be licensed for a commercial project or cited in scholarly publications. Please note, citation or inclusion in print materials is granted gratis; however, audio and video uses are subject to fees.
