LR8 Series Aerial Devices
Altec’s latest generation Tree Care Insulating Aerial, the LR8 Series, features insulating lower and upper booms to easily reach difficult areas and tackle even the most challenging tree care job. This unit also offers increased safety for the operator from power lines, an updated rotation system and minimized product maintenance.

Rear-Mount
This overcenter aerial lift installed over the rear axle provides a compact design and allows you to back up to a job site for additional reach.
Chip Box
This overcenter aerial lift with a chip box design provides ability to trim trees and clean up all with one unit. We have several size and capacity options available.
Platform Rotation
This overcenter aerial lift with the hydraulic tilt option offers five degrees of platform trim when needed, as well as easier cleaning and removal of water from the platform.
Available Lanyard Detection System
The lanyard detection system is available on the LR8 series of aerials. It provides an option for two protection levels against operating the unit without attaching the safety lanyard, the Lanyard Alert System and the Lanyard Interlock System. Both options provide visible and audible indicators to warn the ground crew and operator that the lanyard is not attached.
LevelReady Setup Slope Interlock System
