Born on the paradise island of Mauritius, Guy Hee moved to Canada at a young age. He earned his High School Certificate from the University of Cambridge with a strong focus on sciences and languages. He later completed a Diploma in French Language and Literature from the Alliance Française de Paris. He continued his professional development by earning his Associateship from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London, followed by advanced studies in risk management and underwriting. He subsequently became a Fellow of the Academy of Life Underwriting (US/Canada). Before retiring, Guy spent decades in a senior role at a major Canadian insurance company. From an early age, he was fascinated by science fiction—captivated by classics such as Star Trek and cinematic icons like Alien, Predator, and Transformers. He is also an avid reader of crime thrillers, drawn to their tension, mystery, and clever storytelling. Guy began exploring photography at age 15 when his father gave him his first camera. In retirement, he transformed his lifelong passions into creative expression—writing fiction and designing intricate puzzle books, mazes, and nature-inspired journals, while continuing to pursue photography with a focus on macro, floral, and nature imagery. He published his first novel, Earth’s Last Stand – Sentinel Five, followed by the crime-thriller series The Mystery of the Chinese Zodiac Murders (Books 1 & 2), An Inspector Lelouche Thriller Series - The Louvre Conspiracy. He is also the author of the historical samurai epic, The Blazing Sword series, comprising Book 1: The Last Female Samurai and Book 2: The Shogun Has Fallen. All titles are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Chinese editions. Deeply committed to giving back, Guy supports several cancer charities and research foundations, contributing a significant portion of his book proceeds to causes close to his heart.
