The Builders Code, while working to set a shared standard of behaviour for the construction industry, also aims to recognize the employers dedicated to exceeding these standards.

If you are an exemplary employer, you work for one, or you admire one from afar, please let them know about the Builders Code scorecards and awards.  This is a chance for them to be publicly recognized for their leadership in construction culture, and to positively differentiate themselves in the marketplace:

  • Acceptable Worksite Pledge – Owners or top-level leaders can sign the pledge on behalf of their company to publicly demonstrate its commitment to advancing and supporting the Builders Code definition of an Acceptable Worksite and the Builders Code goal of increasing the percentage of women and other equity-deserving groups in the construction workforce over the next ten years. We will post their logo on our website as a Builders Code supporter.
  • Scorecard – This in-depth benchmarking report and designation will identify BC construction employers who are leading the way, generating a score that can be used to publicly market the company and its commitment to workforce culture and development (Currently only available in BC).
  • Builders Code Awards – Annual awards to celebrate the change-makers (Currently only available in BC).

Let’s celebrate the employers that are making a positive difference in advancing the culture of BC’s industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential (multi-unit) construction sector.
