2020년 2월. 17명 남짓한 사람들이 코로나19 공공데이터 공동대응을 통해 200여명의 시빅해커와 함께 공적마스크 앱을 만든 후에, 지금의 코드포코리아를 결성하였습니다.
그리고 이제는 대한민국의 시빅해커 또는 공익데이터 운동을 하는 시민으로서, 기술로 사회에 기여하는 시민과 기관의 네트워크로 성장하고 있습니다.
Code for Korea is a civic hacking community where citizens come together to solve social problems through digital technology.
In February 2020, a small group of about 17 people collaborated on public data related to COVID-19 and developed a public mask app with the help of around 200 civic hackers. This led to the formation of Code for Korea as it exists today. Now, it has grown into a network of citizens and organizations contributing to society through technology, whether as civic hackers or public data activists in South Korea.
