Why CycleBase?
CycleBase is online since fall 1995. At that time it was still very difficult to find cycling results on internet, so I decided to start my own website. This implies that CycleBase is one of the first cycling websites.
Which Sources Does CycleBase Use?
- UCI Website
- Wikipedia
- Organizer Websites
- Velo Yearbooks
- Le Cyclisme Yearbooks
- Tout Le Cyclisme Féminin Yearbooks
What Is Covered by CycleBase?
CycleBase only covers Elite track cycling, so no U23 (with a few exceptions) and no Juniors. Before the Elite class was created (mid 90’s), cycling was split in professional and amateur racing. CycleBase mainly covers pro racing.
Until 2024, in general only top 10 results are covered in CycleBase.
