I'm not dead, I promise! Just...extremely overwhelmed with life and work of late. My Meadowhaven Patreon is the only more reliably active place to find me and all my new art and WIP projects. It is also the only place to commission me, whenever I am available for new work! Commission openings are only available to patrons as an extra thank you for all their support throughout the years.

I'm slowly working toward getting caught up in posting new art here and my other social media galleries. Expect a bunch of new fantasy coloring pages, original art and fanart to start appearing here over the next few days/weeks! I miss the DA community. <3

In other news, my website Meadowhaven has just about hit the end of its...base code life, I guess? It's so old it's almost unsupported by WordPress now, and glitches have prevented me from updating there since February. I am not code savvy in the least, and I don't know what to do. I don't want to lose everything I've built over the past decade there, and all the memories woven into every page. I need help, but I'm too poor to hire it. So Meadowhaven is...stuck for the time being. ;_;

This year is flying by way too fast! I look up and suddenly it’s the end of September.  ;_;

Thank you so much for your all your kind comments and support of my artwork! I still read every comment, even if things aren't as active here as they once were. I still love it here.

Aside from working on a new batch of commissions and finishing up some older projects in my Patreon, I’ve been working on a fun, silly little passion project that’s been warming my heart and making me happy. Translating a handful of my old original characters into the beautiful world and art style of the expansive online game Genshin Impact!

So far, Faeren is mostly done! And Luke is now in the works.  Trying to adapt my style to fit the Genshin Impact anime character art/world aesthetic is a challenge in every aspect, particularly figuring out outfit designs, but I am having so much fun! I miss my OCs so much, and now they can live and thrive again in a brand new reimagined way. If only in my head.

I'll share more art and details here in a future update! :3 I am also on the lookout to commission other artists to draw my Genshin OCs, too. Particularly artists who draw (or sculpt) in anime-style and/or are familiar with Genshin Impact. I want to start a little personal collection pile for my desk so I can look at it and daydream every time I need a break from work and stress. *heart-eyes*

As always, you can find all WIPS, unpublished sketches and progress of my current art in my Patreon. I only accept commissions (and announce openings) through Patreon! Usually once or twice a year. I do not accept commissions through DA or any social media sites.

Just a heads-up that the postal service is hiking prices for holiday shipping starting Oct 2nd. There's still a week left if you want to sneak in any art print or coloring book orders from my Etsy Shop before the shipping increase. :3

Hello everyone! 💖Happy Valentine's Day!💖

The heart badge trading DA has going on his month is so cute! 😍  I love the idea, and I've been busy happily handing out armfuls of shiny heart badges to artwork (I'm so far behind in my watchlist lately!) and reconnecting with fellow artists here again.

I miss being active here on DA. There is no other art site like it, and social media is full of so many other things that art gets crowded out and buried. I wish for a revival of the glory days of DA when artists of all types and ages would connect, collect and share their work in a space specifically made for and by artists and creatives. I met so many lifelong friends here over the years, and I miss that thriving, beautiful, inspirational community. The foundation of that community is still here, but it's so quiet now... ;_;

In the spirit of being active again, I wish to hand out as many heart badges as I can! If you would like one, please comment below with a link to an artwork of yours that you made this year, or even an older one you're super proud of and would like me to see!

Thank you so much for the help, everyone! OpenSea took down the artwork stolen by me, and it appears all the other reports flooding in about this user account forced a takedown of their entire page.  This is a great relief.

Thank you to DA for giving me notice of my artwork being used for underhanded profit like that without my permission! That new protection feature alone is worth the core subscription price for me.
