Hey, what up? Yeah. I haven't posted anything since the beginning of August because I'm lame. Well, actually, it's because being an English major doesn't leave the sort of time I'd like for drawing and the such. So, I'm pretty rusty, but I don't have any classes over the summer, so it's freeing up some time I can spend on my beloved hobby. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep uploading more work here, rather than this just being another short spurt like usual.

What? What?! Done uploaded stuff? Yes, it's true. I've got up a bit of writing, as well as a few bits of hand-drawn art and painful collaborations. It feels good to be back producing art again. Hopefully I can stick with it this time. Argh. I'm not the most reliable deviant, to be honest.

Welcome! I have seemingly returned from the grave and whittled over 200 message items down to... 2. I'm finally drawing again, and it feels good to comment on and see people's stuff that's been going on while I was absent. I'm no longer an art minor, as USAO's art program just isn't built for non-majors. It took up too much of my time. Also, as a side effect, I'm doing art for pleasure once again. I recently finished a gift that was nearly a year overdue, though, my monitor at home is a bit dark, so I might have to blast the brightness, now that I see it on another monitor.

I'm currently visiting my aunt in Sacramento, she's going to continue work on my lovely tattoo, and give me another one as well. Well, that's about all the updatery I can handle for now, but I'll upload pictures of my tattoos once they're done, and when I get home (back to my lovely scanner) I'll upload the drawings I've been working on.

Some of you may have asked yourselves, "What has Done been up to? He's been gone, oh, forever." Well, here's your answer: I've been eating popcorn in the library. Kettle corn, mostly. Just whatever Nancy happens to bring me.

I've decided to withdraw from my Design II class, the workload is just too much. I have papers to write for my other class, and painting plates that take 2-4 hours to design and another 5-8 hours to paint just isn't working out. Both my papers and my paintings are suffering, and I simply don't want that to happen. Seeing as how art is my minor, it has to take the backseat.

On the upside, I have some time to actually make, you know, art. Now that I'm not an art student. Art students, you understand me, right?  Soooo maybe I get some things uploaded within a few days? Perhaps? Perchance? Mayhaps? Blah.

Other exciting news? My college puts on the Vagina Monologues every year (if'n you don't know what that is, --> www.vday.org/main.html ) and we have the whole V-Day stuff going on with all sorts of events including, but not limited to: A date auction (in which you purchase a date to accompany you to our showing of the Vagina Monologues) in which I will be prostituting myself for the greater good, a drag show in which I will portray both Gwen Stefani ("Just a Girl") and P!nk ("Lady Marmalade"). Both of these events help out the local Women's Resource Center (in circles of lower class, referred to as a "battered women's shelter"), though the drag show is a little better, because it involves people stuffing dollar bills down me shorts in the name of that cause.

So yeah. That's about the long and short of it all. So don't get a heart attack when I finally start commenting on your stuff from December.

Well, Coburn is my Senate representative, and he eats babies. Seriously. Not in a benevolent way, like , in a malicious, impish sort of way. Elections went totally opposite of what I voted. Oklahomans voted for an unconstitutional law prohibiting gay marriages. Our senate representative believes that doctors who perform abortions should be given the death penalty. He said gays and single mothers shouldn't be allowed to be teachers. He claims that Schindler's List is obscene and should be banned. HE EATS BABIES. All this, and Dubbya won, too. Four more years of a murderer and a cokehead in the White House.

On a brighter note, while I don't have any pictures of me in my Halloween costume on Halloween, here I am earlier in the week at our "traditional showing" (i.e. throw the toast, snap the glove, come in costume) of The Rocky Horror Picture Show:
