Wow, its been an incredibly long time since I last checked this site. Just checking it out again out of boredom. Of the 7+ years I've been on this site, I've seen so many things happen. Seen best friends come and go. Seen communities come together and fall apart. I miss those days. I realize, that dAmn has kind of been overtaken by trolls, artists who were serious left to pursue professional careers, and artists who weren't serious just left to go hang out elsewhere. So who does that leave behind? You, me, we're the ones who got left behind in all that. But I still want to say, that regardless of what's been, or what's yet to come, dA was and always will be a great place for artists. I feel like I owe it some of my success. Thank you to all those who still stick by me.

Had a surprise birthday party thrown for me today. Even though its not my birthday yet. It makes me think, maybe things aren't so bad. I was concerned because I was starting to think certain people didn't like me. In the end though, people will always see you for who you really are.

I kind of miss how things used to be

In the past few months, I've learned several valuable life lessons.
Most important of which is about happiness.
I learned that happiness is something that you create yourself, it is what lives inside of you.
Objects, people, places; all of these mean nothing if you are in-content with the life situation you are currently experiencing.
Myself, I often find myself missing having a carefree lifestyle, where nothing really can bother you.
But what I learned is that in the end, this is all located solely within the mind of the individual.
Don't let others decide for you whether or not you want to be happy, go out and find it for yourself.

1. What does your DeviantArt name mean and why?
- Well, as you may or may not know from my front page, I've been on this site for 5 years. So lets rewind to my Sophomore year in High School. I was kind of crazy back then. Kind of being an understatement. My friends would always refer to me as "random" because I would always bring up things completely unrelated to the conversation. I had some bizarre interests back then too. I won't go into it at the moment, but other questions may reveal. Eventually my nickname evolved into randomman after I dressed up as Santa Spiderman for Christmas due to the new year garage sale at school. The costume was about fit for a five year old, so you can imagine how that looked. Now days, however, the username is mostly ironic, since I have learned to control my insanity.
2. What fandom were you obsessed with when you joined and what are you into now?
- Xiaolin Showdown. I found deviantART from searching that on google.

- I was born during the summer, but I don't really care for it. Too many bugs. I prefer Autumn, but since thats not an option, I'll take Winter.
11. Rain or Sun?
- Neither. Overcastplz.
12. What is your favorite type of music?
- Metal, all kinds. Be it Power, Doom, Black, Death, Progressive, Speed, or just the old fashioned classics. That being said, I also enjoy Industrial music and Aggrotech. I will also tolerate small amounts of techno, if its really good. Or Ambient, if it particularly stands out. Once in awhile I'll even listen to Grindcore, but I'm very particular about what bands I listen to. There is a lot of crap in every genre, and so its never a good thing to limit yourself to one particular style.

- PC.
14. Anime or Manga?
- I'll go with Japanimation, just because I have more time to sit around and watch stuff than I do to read. It is easier to multi-task with.

- Neither. I don't enjoy cola. I'll drink any other pop that is not a cola.

- Television sadly. I would like to take more time to read, but it seems as though I always have a million other things to do first.

- If you count time spend on dAmn, way too many.

- Running. I used to be good at it, but I've fallen out of practice.

- I don't pride myself on eating junk. That being said, probably a tie between Arby's and Burger King.

- I used to type around 80 wpm (fast), now I type around 40 (medium). But everyone always tells me I'm the fastest typist they know. Typing classes pay off.

- Yeah. I don't go often, but they have some damn good sandwiches. I don't generally go out for breakfast, but when I do, I suppose Denny's would be as good as any.

- Yes.

- Tons. I've almost failed before from skipping so much.

- Yes.

- Yeah, but let me say, it is freezing! The ocean is never warm. Unless you're swimming near a volcano. Which I have not.

- Once. I fell on my face and never did it again.

- Lake Michigan is amazing. Ludington and Muskegon are great spots just to relax and hang out at the beach. I also go to Sanibel Island, Florida once a year which is a lot of fun. Other places of note are Ithica, New York (Finger Lakes Region) and Port Hope, Ontario, Canada.
39. Ever been on TV?
- Not that I know of. Its possible that I was and never knew about it though.
40. Favorite salad and dressing?
- Taco salads are good. I generally get side salads because they're cheaper. Favorite dressing? Thousand Island. No question there.
41. What do you do to relax?
- Videogames, Movies, Japanimation, and listening to good music.
42. What is the last movie you saw in the theater?
- Sucker Punch.
43. Favorite sandwich?
- Grilled Chicken, or Egg/Sausage/Cheese. Though I won't turn down a good hamburger.
44. If you could go anywhere in the world?
- I'd love to go to Northern Europe. Norway, Sweden, Denmark... Finland. That general area, you know? I've heard their summers are beautiful. There would always be something to do up there.
Other than that, I would love to visit various countries, such as Scotland, Ireland, England, and Australia.
Someday I will go visit the homeland of my family as well. (Poland)

- I love to get up in the morning, and stay up real late at night. Unfortunately those two are not generally possible to stay up to on the same sleep cycle.
