Recently got the funds to obtain a new PC the old one was a quick fix multimedia PC with little to no performance.
Needed something that would run Photoshop like a charm and be able to run 3D applications and games.
So to the drawing board i went, my preferred brands would be intel CPU, asus mobo, nvidia GPU, kingston or crosair RAM.
After nights of tinkering with various setup balancing performance vs cost i finally made my final setup.
Enclosure: Antec Dark Fleet DF30.
Motherboard: Asus P8B75-V Socket 1155.
CPU chip: Intel i7 3.4Ghz, Quad Core 8MB.
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO.
RAM: Corshair Vengeance DDR3 1600, 16GB
GPU: Asus Geforce GTX 660 DCII OC, 2GB GDDR5.
Audio: Creative SB X-Fi Extreme Audio.
Power Supply: OCZ CoreXStream 500Watt.
Hard drives: OCZ Agility 3 256GB SATA III(C Drive), Western Digital Green 1TB SATA III 64mb(D Drive), OCZ Agility 3 60GB SATA III(System Image Drive).
After installing/updating everything i fired up the index test on win7 and ..... damm 7.7 out of 7.9.
Not even using a SLI setup and i got this far even better then what i expected to begin with.
Then i ran a 3DMark 11 benchmark and started to tweak and got this as final result

But please take into account tweaking can be tricky it will run fine as it is on the normal setting, TWEAK WITH CARE!
For a moderate price i got a PC that can only be beat by running a dual SLI setup what would double the costs of the setup.
