Full Value Chain

From Source to Solution

At Eagle LNG, we manage every step of the value chain to ensure reliability and quality. From sourcing natural gas to producing and providing LNG from our state-of-the-art facilities and supply, we control the entire process. Our integrated approach allows us to deliver a seamless and cost-effective energy solution directly to our customers.

Liquefaction

  • Eagle LNG operates a state-of-the-art natural gas liquefaction plant in Maxville – just outside of Jacksonville, FL.
Maxville’s cutting-edge facility features an ~1 million-gallon (4,000 cbm)  storage tank as well as a sophisticated LNG loading system, with dual loading lanes to service both cryogenic tankers and ISO containers simultaneously.

At the heart of our current LNG production is our Maxville facility, a state-of-the-art liquefaction plant where we transform natural gas into LNG for efficient storage and transport. This facility plays a pivotal role in our supply chain, enabling us to meet the growing demand for reliable energy. The Maxville liquefaction process is designed to minimize environmental impact while maintaining exceptional operational performance. Located strategically to serve diverse markets, the Maxville facility leverages advanced technology to ensure the highest standards of quality and environmental stewardship.

  • Eagle LNG’s newest FERC-approved and DOE-licensed (FTA/non-FTA) liquefaction and export terminal in development will serve customers domestically and in the Caribbean basin. Eagle LNG is growing to meet demand. Our FERC approved Jacksonville Export Facility (JEF) is located in an area that currently hosts other bulk fuel terminals and is designed for minimal environmental impact on ~228 acres. The project will have a processing capacity of 1MTPA (~1.65 million gallons of LNG per day), with onsite LNG storage of ~11 million gallons (40,000 cbm) and is proudly supported by the Jacksonville community.

At JEF, Eagle LNG will receive natural gas – transported from multiple large-diameter transmission lines to a local distribution utility through existing and expanded pipelines to the JEF site – liquefy and temporarily store the LNG, then load LNG onto ocean-going vessels for export to countries converting from heavy fuel oil or diesel to clean burning natural gas for power generation, marine bunkering and industrial fueling.

Marine Bunkering

  • With an ~900K gallon (3,600 cbm) LNG storage capacity the Talleyrand Marine Terminal is the first of its kind for land-based marine bunkering
Efficiency is the cornerstone of this site; simultaneous operations for terminal filling and vessel loading are routinely conducted.
Eagle LNG worked closely with the U.S. Coast Guard to analyze and mitigate all risks involved when developing the Talleyrand facility. Through innovative, NFPA-approved engineering designs — like expandable modular systems, enclosed trenching, double-jacket stainless steel tanks, and mobile transfer units — the dispersion zone was reduced, delivery volumes increased, and delivery times decreased while assuring safe simultaneous operations. Improved air quality and reduced capital and operating costs result from this design.

  • STS Operations for Marine LNG Supply

Power Generation

  • Eagle LNG’s Caribbean LNG receipt, storage and regasification terminal in Antigua;
Eagle LNG is proud to partner with Antigua Power Company Limited (APCL), the local power provider to over 80% of the island of Antigua, in the Caribbean LNG terminal to deliver LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) as a sustainable and cost-effective power solution.
A Transformative Energy Solution for Antigua
Antigua has long relied on traditional fuels for its power generation, but with the rise of cleaner energy alternatives the need for a sustainable energy future has never been greater. Through this partnership, Eagle LNG will provide a reliable and efficient LNG supply to APCL, enabling substantial benefits to Antigua’s energy sector, economy, and environment.
Key Benefits of the LNG Project for Antigua
Significant Cost Reduction in Electricity Prices: By replacing more expensive, conventional fuels with LNG, this project will dramatically reduce the cost of electricity generation. Antiguans can expect a marked decrease in the price of electricity across the island, making energy more affordable for both residents and businesses.
A 30%+ Reduction in Carbon Emissions: The shift to LNG will significantly lower the carbon footprint of Antigua’s power generation. LNG produces fewer greenhouse gases compared to traditional fuels, leading to a reduction of more than 30% in emissions associated with power generation. This aligns with Antigua’s broader sustainability goals and helps contribute to global efforts to combat climate change.
Price Stability for the Long-Term: LNG offers a stable and reliable price structure compared to volatile fossil fuels. This project will provide long-term price stability, shielding Antigua from fluctuations in global oil and fuel markets, thus ensuring more predictable energy costs for consumers and businesses alike.
Enhanced Grid Stability and Reliability: The use of LNG will help improve the stability and reliability of Antigua’s electricity grid. Natural gas-fired power plants are more flexible and responsive than their oil counterparts, helping to balance supply and demand more effectively and ensuring uninterrupted power supply across the island.
A Sustainable Future for Antigua’s Energy Sector
This project represents a significant milestone in Antigua’s journey towards a cleaner, more sustainable energy future. By providing LNG to power APCL’s plants, Eagle LNG is not only helping to reduce costs and emissions but also supporting the island's long-term energy security and economic growth. With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and reliability, Eagle LNG is proud to be a key partner in Antigua’s energy transformation, ensuring a brighter future for the island and its residents.

LNG significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions, virtually eliminates sulfur emissions, and cuts particulate matter making it an ideal energy choice for industries and communities striving to meet stringent environmental standards. From production to delivery, our end-to-end LNG solutions empower partners to achieve ambitious climate goals while advancing sustainability and fostering a low-carbon future.

SDG 14 – Life Below Water

Eagle LNG actively supports ocean conservation through our marine LNG bunkering services, offering a cleaner alternative to traditional marine fuels. LNG virtually eliminates sulfur oxide (SOₓ) emissions, significantly reduces nitrogen oxides (NOₓ) by up to 95%, and minimizes particulate matter, thereby lowering maritime pollution and protecting marine ecosystems (SEA-LNG, 2021). By enabling the shipping industry to transition to more sustainable practices, we contribute to healthier oceans and the preservation of life below water for future generations.
