Patrick Schnieder, Federal Minister of Transport, and Thekla Walker, Minister for the Environment, Climate, and Energy Sector for Baden-Württemberg, today visited the headquarters of EKPO Fuel Cell Technologies GmbH (EKPO) in Dettingen/Erms. Hosted by Dr. Stefan Dwenger and Mark Passolt, who form the executive management team of EKPO, and Thomas Jessulat, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of EKPO and CEO of ElringKlinger AG, they toured the development and production facilities for fuel cell stacks and components at the company's headquarters.

ElringKlinger appoints Ulrich Zimmer as Chief Operating Officer

The Supervisory Board of ElringKlinger AG has appointed Ulrich Zimmer to the Group Management Board. Zimmer will take on the responsibilities of Reiner Drews, who is stepping down from the Management Board at his own request upon completion of his contract following a successful 19-year tenure at ElringKlinger.

An efficient energy storage device is a key piece of technology for sustainable electric vehicles. ElringKlinger offers complete lithium-ion battery storage systems and modules for drives and auxiliary power units, as well as various individual components.

Metal Forming and Assembly Technology

Temperature management, acoustic behavior, safety, electromagnetic compatibility, aerodynamics and cost-effectiveness are key factors that have to be overcome by our metallic stamping and molded parts plus associated assemblies and our shielding systems.

ElringKlinger’s core competences include the unique know-how in tool technology. At the Toolmaking Technology Center at our Lenningen site, we pool our expertise within the ElringKlinger Group.
