Rooted in Love Quilt Pattern – A Quilt with Purpose

    fieldsofpatchwork09 February 25, 2026

Love, you’re not alone.-Isaiah 1:17 A couple of years ago, I came across an episode of Returning the Favor hosted by Mike Rowe featuring Rhonda Paulson, the founder of Isaiah 117 House. I didn’t expect it to impact me the way it did, but their mission stayed with me long after the episode ended. If you’ve never heard of the Isaiah 117 House, I encourage you to take a few…

✨ Rooted in Love is Live! ✨ The wait is over... R ✨ Rooted in Love is Live! ✨

The wait is over... Rooted in Love is available! 💛

This pattern is especially close to my heart. After spending 10 years in education and having countless foster children in my classes, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply children need to feel safe, valued, and loved. They are meant to be loved. They should always know they are worthy.

Life isn’t always fair, and sometimes difficult circumstances happen. But we are called to be God’s hands and feet. We are capable of reaching out and doing our part to make hard situations a little softer. We are called to love others — and who better to love than innocent children?

A few years ago, I discovered Isaiah 117 House after watching an episode of Returning the Favor with Mike Rowe. Their mission immediately touched my heart. When a home opened in my area, I knew they would cherish handmade quilts for the children they serve.

That’s how Rooted in Love was born — designed to encourage others to love one another in a tangible way.

And the most meaningful part — all proceeds will be donated to Isaiah 117 House to support the incredible work they’re doing for children entering foster care.

Let’s stitch with purpose. Let’s love in action. 💕

Special Thank You to @benartex_fabrics / Benartex for donating the fabric and for inspiring this project. Their motto is create, inspire, delight! I think this project fully embodies that!
