What are the dates of the User Conference?

The conference is January 28th – January 30th, 2026.

What is the cancellation policy for registration fees?

Any cancellations after December 29th do not qualify for a refund.

What is the cost of attending the conference?

The registration fee for the conference is $750, plus travel expenses. See room block information above. There is an early bird rate of $650 if you register before October 1, 2025.

Will there be meals provided during the conference?

Most meals are provided during the conference. Here are the covered meals:

  • January 29th: Dinner and drinks provided
  • January 30th: Breakfast and lunch provided; drinks during the social event
  • January 31st: Breakfast provided

What is the dress code for the conference events?

The dress code is business casual, and we encourage school gear!

Is there an opportunity to meet with industry leaders at the conference?

You bet! Bringing together industry leaders to network is one of the core goals of this conference. We’ve assembled an impressive roster of speakers and panelists at the forefront of asset and facilities management. There will be ample opportunities to connect with them throughout the event, including dedicated networking sessions and receptions. What are the different session tracks offered at the conference?

The conference will feature four different tracks for you to choose from:

  • New FMX Users: This track is best for new FMX users looking to master the basics and learn about other opportunities
  • Maturing Users: Ideal for users who have been with FMX for a couple of years, this track will provide you with best practices and products relevant to organizations growing in their FMX maturity.
  • Advanced Users: FMX superusers, this is the track for you! Learn about the latest and greatest products and enhancements, and how to take your FMX site to the next level.
  • Thought leadership: Gain insights into facilities and management best practices from a variety of leaders.

You can mix and match tracks or follow one track for the entirety of the conference.

Who should attend the conference?

All FMX customers are welcome and encouraged to take advantage of this unique opportunity. While many of our tracks are focused on operational best practices and products, we encourage IT leaders, CFOs, and others to join.

Are there rooms available pre- and post-conference for reservation? Is the room block price available for these additional dates?

Yes! We understand you might want to extend your stay and get your boogie on. You can book pre- and post-conference nights through our FMX room block at Austin Marriott Downtown. The special rate of $269 per night (plus tax and resort fees) will be available for reservations between January 27th and January 30th.

Here are some additional points to consider:

  • Availability for pre- and post-conference nights might be limited depending on overall hotel occupancy.
  • It’s recommended that you book your stay as soon as possible to secure your desired dates.
What is the best way to get from the airport to the conference location?

We recommend Uber/Lyft/Taxis to the hotel. Please be safe and mindful of your surroundings while traveling.

Can I stay at another property?

Absolutely! While the room block at Austin Marriott Downtown offers a convenient location and beautiful atmosphere, you’re welcome to choose another hotel that better suits your needs.  We understand flexibility is important.

Will there be networking events or social gatherings?

Yes, networking opportunities are included in the price of the event. Please join us for the following:

  • A welcome reception at Zanzibar, the rooftop restaurant at Austin Marriott downtown. We’ll have drinks and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
  • Networking, bull rides, karaoke, duckpin bowling, and more at Bull & Bowl. Drinks will be provided.
