Hi, if you're here you might be wondering what's going on with the Giant Bomb API, and what our future plans are - happy to help, and also to assist by answering any of your questions in the forums (when they're available) and on Discord. The Giant Bomb API has long been a free resource for data on video games and the people that make them - and with the move to become independent from Fandom, we had to rebuild our tech stack completely from scratch.

We DID bring all the wiki's data with us - but the mechanisms by which one could access them are not currently available, and they will change. But if you have the skills and interest, there is an open source project to rebuild the wiki on MediaWiki, the same technology powering many open wikis on the internet.

If you navigate to https://bombcast.com/wiki you will find our GitHub for the Open Source Giant Bomb Wiki project; we are in need of PHP developers and some Javascript development, as well as API developers looking to restore capability.

Not currently available are any of the APIs for:

- Games

- Characters

- Companies

- Concepts

- Locations

- Objects

- Releases

- People

and so on and so forth.

/wiki is available on our site currently in a rough, alpha state for browsing as the community continues to redevelop these pages.
