Welcome to the official website of the 14th Annual Juneteenth Atlanta Parade and Music Festival. This high-spirited celebration of freedom, unity, and equality offers entertainment stages and is known for filling the atmosphere and the streets of Atlanta with the soulful sounds of live music, the pleasant aromas of sage, myrrh and frankincense. The amazing hand-made merchandise from local and international vendors, mouthwatering cuisines, and an array of immersive cultural activities makes Juneteenth Atlanta a must for all to attend.
To heighten this already extraordinary experience, the event bosters a vibrant, televised World Freedom Day Parade featuring captivating floats, fly-over jets, colorful dance troops, skilled skaters, community youth organizations, mesmerizing marching bands, and esteemed local and national dignitaries from the Southeast. Then there is the One and only largest Fathers Day comemoration and celebration anywhere! “If that’s not enough, get ready to cruise through time — from the oldest and coldest to the latest and greatest whips and motorcycles in a world renowned Juneteenth car show presented by the one and only, Whip Addict.”

WORLD FREEDOM DAY PARADE | VIDEOS OVER THE YEARS
The inaugural Juneteenth Atlanta's World Freedom Day Parade began as a commitment to our community elders. Due to health limitations, our elders from the Olgothorpe Assisted Living Facility located in the West End of Atlanta were unable to join us for our 2014 Juneteenth celebration at The Shrine Of The Black Madonna off of Ralph Abernathy Blvd; Therefore, we vowed to bring the festivities to them before heading to the venue, and we fulfilled that promise! Check out the conclusion of the first Juneteenth Atlanta Freedom Day Parade, which was established as a pledge to our community elders, ensuring their inclusion even though they couldn't be present! What originated as a promise has transformed into a regionally televised Parade!
