CLM Fireproofing has over 36 years’ experience in design consultancy, installation, maintenance and remediation of passive fire protection. We look forward to working with them and strengthening our collective capability to drive progress across the construction industry.

The Government has published its first annual report following the Grenfell Tower Inquiry, outlining progress on implementing the 58 recommendations in the final report. So far, 12 recommendations have been completed, including two from the Phase 1 report, with 70% expected to be closed by the end of 2026. Alongside the report, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has published a Construction Products Reform White Paper, proposing reforms to strengthen the regulatory framework. These include a new licensing regime for testing and certification bodies, improved product information and transparency, and stronger enforcement powers for the national construction products regulator. MHCLG is also expected to publish a call for evidence on the regulation of built environment professionals this spring, and representatives from MHCLG will also be attending Build UK's next Building Safety Call on Tuesday 10 March to outline the proposals for reform, including whether more professions should be subject to mandatory registration and licensing requirements.
