🌍 Sustainability in Action - a Visit to ECOPACK Bulgaria♻️ The Intersnack team had the opportunity to visit ECOPACK Bulgaria, a company specializing in the sorting of packaging waste made of paper, plastic, and aluminum. What we learnt: ✔️ How the separate collection system for packaging waste works ✔️ What types of packaging waste can be recycled and what happens to them afterwards ✔️ The process of sorting waste by material type before it reaches recycling plants ✔️ The environmental and economic benefits of recycling ✔️ Creative approaches to reuse — including turning waste into art!
