🎉 We are proud to congratulate Dr. Marshall on her latest publication in the International Journal of Business Communication! 📖 Article title: Constituting Compliance: Reconciling Theory and Method to Analyze Compliance Practice 👉 Featured in the Special Issue on methods in business communication, this article demonstrates how discourse analysis and ethnography—when combined—provide powerful tools for examining organizational phenomena that are often difficult to observe, such as compliance. Taken together, these methods advance insights for Communication as Constitutive of Organization (CCO), theorizing and broadening our understanding of compliance in practice.
