The Dutch crypto broker LiteBit announced in a press release in May 2023 that it intends to terminate its activities as a result of various market developments, increased competition and mounting regulatory pressure.
LiteBit customers will be offered the option to easily transfer their digital assets to Bitvavo. The potential transfer from LiteBit customers to Bitvavo has already been submitted to the relevant authorities and will be assessed by the ACM in the near future. After this, customers will be actively informed and fully supported during the (possible) transfer process.
