Hello all!
Welcome to our first meetup of 2026. This is a placeholder for the event that will take place on the 28th of January.
Marios Aspris will talk about std::span and ranges in his talk.
We are kindly hosted by Quokka this evening.
Abstract
Modern C++ is all about "zero-overhead abstractions" and safety. In this session, we focus on two of the most powerful tools in the modern toolbox: std::span and the Ranges library.
Span: Learn why std::span is the ideal interface for functions that need to work with arrays, vectors, or buffers without taking ownership.
Composability: We'll demonstrate how to chain operations like filter and transform to
process data without creating temporary containers.
Real-world Examples: No abstract theory here—just concrete slides and code snippets.
