Child abuse and neglect have lasting impacts on a child’s social, emotional and physical development. MountainStar exists to keep our community’s children safe and give them the best start possible.
There are families in Oregon living with immense stressors, risks, and chaos—none of which are conducive to a child’s health and safety. We serve more than 300 families every year, but there are more in need.
The Need

We offer therapeutic services to children and families living with risk factors for abuse and neglect: homelessness, poverty, domestic violence, mental illness and more.
