Learn MoreThe National State Auditors Association is accepting nominations for the William R. Snodgrass Distinguished Leadership Award, created to formally recognize individuals who have demonstrated sustained outstanding leadership and notable contributions to state government auditing.
The winner of the award will be announced at the NSAA Annual Conference in Tacoma, WA in June.
Nominations will be accepted until Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

I hope that you will join us for the 2026 NASC Annual Conference, held on March 18-20 in Eugene, Oregon. The program committee, led by Kathleen Baxter, has put together an agenda that is timely and impactful. Additionally, the NASC conference always delivers incredible opportunities to connect, interact and dialogue with peers around the country.
On November 25, the U.S. Office of Management and Budget released the final 2025 Compliance Supplement.
The annual Compliance Supplement is essential to achieving the purposes of the Single Audit Act. It establishes uniform audit requirements for federal awards, promotes sound financial management, supports the efficient and effective use of audit resources, and reduces administrative burden on non-federal entities. Proceeding with the version of the 2025 Compliance Supplement provided by OMB in August is a necessary but problematic approach.
