With more than 30 years of history, Málaga TechPark is an initiative based on public-private cooperation, with the Junta de Andalucía, Málaga City Council, Unicaja and the University of Málaga as shareholders.

World leaders in ICT have chosen the Andalusia Technology Park to locate their headquarters and R&D centres. Currently, the Malaga technopolis has more than 74 international firms installed.

The University of Malaga and the Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía have a close collaborative relationship, which creates an important network of technology transfer and dissemination with the aim of promoting research and development from within the university.
