CargoB is redefining urban mobility with hassle-free access to a shared fleet of electric cargo bikes purpose-built to easily navigate dense neighborhoods while carrying large loads. From groceries to gear, picnic supplies or kids, CargoB riders are loading up the bike, getting out of their cars and fully embracing the vibrant places that uniquely define city life.

We offer riders a practical alternative to automobiles with a uniform fleet of class-1 non-throttle electric front-loader bucket bikes, also known as bakfiets, that are capable of accommodating up to a 300 lb payload in the front bucket.
Bikes are available by the minute for round trip (point A to A) rentals through the CargoB mobile app. Users can easily locate and manage rides conveniently from their smartphones. Once a rental is complete, customers return the bicycle to its designated parking location, lock it up, end the ride via the app, and the CargoB is ready to share with the next neighbor. Full and multi-day rentals can be arranged by emailing hello@ridecargob.com. Annual Passes are available for purchase in the CargoB app.
The first of its kind in North America, CargoB proudly launched as a WBE (Woman Business Enterprise) in 2024 in the cities of Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville, Massachusetts. CargoB is forging important partnerships with city governments, regional transit agencies, and academic institutions to expand this climate-friendly mobility option throughout Greater Boston and to similarly multimodal cities.

Stickers, hats, and sweatshirts can be purchased here. You can also gift an annual pass and receive a hat. Gifted annual passes will be raffled off or donated at the various community events that CargoB co-sponsors or participates in. If you would like to gift a pass to a specific individual, please make a note in your donation form.
