I started at Rose State the summer after my sophomore year in high school and completed 46 hours of concurrent enrollment coursework before graduation. Concurrent helped my higher education journey by allowing me to complete dual credit and graduate with an Associate of Science in Chemistry by the end of my freshman year.

The education and mentorship I received at Rose State were so meaningful and ultimately helped me realize that higher education is where I’m most comfortable. My psychology degree has several applications, and I feel like I use it every day in advising!

Even though you’re an online student, you can still enroll in study abroad trips. I enrolled in the Italy-Croatia trip. I booked the trip through Rose State and was able to meet other students and alumni.

Student musicians from RSC were selected to perform in the 2026 Oklahoma Intercollegiate Honor Band, a prestigious statewide ensemble presented by the Oklahoma Music Educators Association (OkMEA) and the Oklahoma Membership of the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA).
This marks Rose State’s second year participating in the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Honor Band. Two RSC students were selected this year: Eric Morales and Nicholas Waskom.
“Being part of the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Honor Band gives our students an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives,” said Dr. David Marvel. “I’m proud of our students for earning their place among the top collegiate musicians in Oklahoma.”
