How do you bring AI/ML to devices with limited processing power, tight memory constraints, and strict energy budgets where every bit of battery life matters? This demo shows real-time face and gesture recognition running directly on the EFR32 MG26 SoC with ML models generated using ModelCat AI’s Aptos platform, delivering efficient edge inference within strict power and memory limits. Got a moment? Chad Steider spent some time with us to chat about the partnership between Wirepas and Silicon Labs. 🤝 He quickly covers a real world use of our combined savvy. The story should sound a little familiar by now if you know us. 👉 India! 🏋 It's the heavy-lifting champion of smart meter deployments, and SiLabs and Wirepas are right there in the thick of it. #Wirepas #SiliconLabs #SiLabs #RFMesh #XG22 #XG23 #XG24 #SmartMetering

#SeeedXIAO 🔍 Small board, serious wireless power. ValleyTechSolutions takes a close-up look at our XIAO MG24 Sense, breaking down what makes this tiny board a strong choice for modern IoT and home automation projects. Powered by the Silicon Labs EFR32MG24 (ARM Cortex-M33 with clock speeds of 78 MHz), it packs 256 KB RAM, 4 MB SPI flash, USB-C, battery management, classic XIAO GPIOs (I²C, SPI, UART, ADC, PWM), and the familiar XIAO ecosystem—all in a compact form factor. The video highlights native support for Matter, Thread, Zigbee, and Bluetooth, plus the Sense variant’s built-in microphone, gyroscope, and U.FL antenna connector, making it ideal for smart home, gesture-based interfaces, and battery-powered IoT devices. If you’re exploring Matter-ready hardware in a truly small footprint, this one’s worth a closer look. Check out the video here 👉 https://bit.ly/49d73iS #MG24 #SmartHome #Wireless #SiliconLabs #BLE

What a week at CES! 🎉 Great conversations, fresh perspectives, and a lot of momentum around where connected tech is headed. It was energizing to hear how teams across the ecosystem are thinking about Edge AI, security, and what it takes to build systems that scale and endure. Thanks to everyone who took the time to connect with us. #CES2026

CES Demo Spotlight: Motor Control Breakthrough with the MG24 SoC Chad Steider demos a connected BLDC motor running on a single MG24 SoC, combining motor control, wireless connectivity, and on-device AI/ML. The system detects anomalies in real time, safely stopping the motor when interference occurs, then resuming operation. Traditionally a multi-chip design, this runs on one SoC with our Series 2 platform. #CES2026

CES Demo Spotlight: Bluetooth Channel Sounding Chandana Daryani walks through our live demo showing how Bluetooth Channel Sounding on our xG24 platform can automatically map devices in a room. Not just distance, but real spatial awareness. Multiple nodes figure out where they are relative to each other and generate a live 2D map, reducing the need for manual commissioning and mapping. If you’re at #CES2026, come see our demos in action at the Silicon Labs Suite on Level 3 of the Venetian in Toscana 3710. https://lnkd.in/gdYJJcGa

The number of connected devices keeps growing, but the real opportunity is in what’s still unconnected. In our latest Connect With conversation, Jay Desai from Amazon talks with Silicon Labs' John Dixon about how community-powered networks like Amazon Sidewalk are opening up new possibilities for nationwide IoT, especially for use cases that need to be low power, reliable, and simple to deploy. The discussion goes beyond the technology itself and into what really matters. How networks get built, how developers are supported, and what “scale” actually looks like in the real world. If you're at CES this week, stop by to chat with the Silicon Labs team more about Amazon Sidewalk: https://lnkd.in/gdYJJcGa #CES2026
