Our Mission

seeking knowledge goodness together

Dedicated Faculty

Our teachers are the heart of our school. More than educators, they're mentors, guides, and role models for your child. As lifelong learners themselves, they create engaging classrooms that support a rigorous curriculum while making sure your child feels safe, valued, empowered to explore, take risks, and ask questions with confidence.

Episcopal Tradition

Our Episcopal identity inspires every aspect of our community, from programs and service to creating a space where everyone feels valued for who they are. Through chapel services, thoughtful religious studies, and a commitment to justice, empathy, and community, we invite students to explore their own spiritual journey while deepening their understanding of the Episcopal tradition. You don't need to be Episcopalian or Christian to belong—you are valued just as you are.

A Balanced Approach

We empower students not only to succeed but to thrive, enabling them to lead balanced, fulfilling, and purposeful lives in an ever-changing world. That includes ensuring every student's current and lifelong well-being, which encompasses their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Through our health and wellness programs, students learn to prioritize their well-being, practice mindfulness, manage stress effectively, maintain healthy relationships, and cultivate school and work-life balance.

Student Leadership

Empathy and stepping outside one's comfort zone are key to becoming a confident, effective leader. As students work with people of different ages, backgrounds, and cultures, they learn that leadership takes many forms and draws on a wide range of abilities. From budgeting and speechwriting to teamwork and problem-solving, every student can discover their unique leadership style. We provide the guidance and opportunities to help them grow into the leaders they're meant to be.

Purposeful Service

To plant the seed of service early, we engage our youngest Saints in hands-on, real-time projects with immediate outcomes, like making snack packs that go to local after-school programs, performing a magic show for a local preschool, and engaging in an eight-week philanthropy workshop to raise money for local organizations that work with children. These experiences inspire a deeper desire to serve, as our students discover how empathy, fairness, kindness, stewardship, and love can make a difference for others.

Around the World

There's a vast, complicated, and constantly changing world out there–and our students are ready for it. Through classroom studies, hands-on service projects, and meaningful travel, they engage with and come to understand world religions, cultures, and economies. They research and discuss global issues, drawing on a variety of international sources. They learn and practice communicating in languages other than English and connect with peers around the globe through collaborative projects and programs.

Responsive Classrooms

In our Lower School, we bring learning to life with Responsive Classroom–a fun, student-centered approach that blends teaching with social and emotional growth. It's all about creating safe, joyful, and engaging spaces where everyone feels a strong sense of belonging and can thrive together, backed by research and proven practices.

Advisory Program

While it serves as a home base, a space, and a group of people to start and end your day with, Middle School advisory also provides support, skill development, mentoring, camaraderie, and laughs. For many middle schoolers, it becomes a second home. Just as important, our students form strong bonds with their teachers, who are experts on the transition from tween to teen and who find mentoring middle schoolers an absolute joy.

The Bridge Program

Our ninth-grade bridge program helps students transition smoothly into high school while fostering lasting connections. Through class lunches, small group activities, and peer-led discussions, freshmen build friendships and a sense of belonging. The program culminates in a team-building day at Bretton Woods, creating shared memories and a strong start to high school life.
