The USS John F. Kennedy’s sea trials will give the Navy and builders a chance to operate crucial systems and components at sea for the first time — a key test before the ship’s scheduled commissioning in March 2027.
The VA will build a new community-based outpatient clinic in South Carolina’s Lowcountry region. It will replace the current VA clinic located at the Beaufort Naval Hospital, which has faced multiple closures over the years.
