Transportation Engineer

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination:

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to ensure timely project execution.
  Technical Oversight:
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
• Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  Budget and Cost Control:
• Assist in the development of project budgets and track project expenditures.
• Monitor project costs to ensure the project stays within the approved budget.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and report them to management.
  Risk Management:
• Identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, schedule, and safety risks.
• Resolve technical problems and conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
  Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical aspects of the project.
• Provide regular project updates and progress reports to stakeholders, including internal teams and clients.
• Coordinate meetings and facilitate communication between engineering, operations, and other relevant departments.
  Quality Control:
• Monitor and ensure the quality of engineering work and deliverables.
• Conduct inspections and oversee testing to confirm that work complies with project specifications and quality standards.
  Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure all project-related documents are properly filed and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
