The North American Lutheran Church was formed in 2010 by Christians seeking to remain deeply rooted in the truth of the Bible and the mission of Jesus Christ. We hold to the historic teachings of the Church, guided by the Lutheran Confessions, and shaped by four core values: we are a Christ-Centered, Mission-Driven, Traditionally Grounded, and Congregationally Focused community of believers committed to making disciples and living out the Gospel together.
A season of growth in the Spirit as the Church lives out Christ’s mission in the world.

Here’s the latest around the NALC:
This year’s devotional—The Unshaken Cross—guides us through Lent toward Easter: from honest reflection and repentance, to trust in Christ’s saving work, to resting in the victory secured at the cross. It meets us in the uncertainty and brokenness of our world and leads us to the unchanging faithfulness of God revealed in Jesus Christ. Through Scripture and reflection, we are invited to cling to the promise that nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
At the 2025 Mission Convocation in Pittsburgh, the North American Lutheran Church unveiled a renewed vision for our shared life together: to be a disciple-making church. This vision comes to life as congregations are renewed in faith, disciples are equipped to follow Jesus with confidence, and communities are transformed by the power of the Gospel. From local ministries and global partnerships to life-to-life discipleship in homes, schools, and workplaces, we are answering Christ’s call to love God, love our neighbors, and make disciples of all nations.
Due to the winter storm forecast impacting travel, the Clergy Retreat scheduled for next week has been cancelled. This decision was made prayerfully, with the safety and well-being of our clergy and their families as the top priority.

Every NALC congregation is asked to review, meet, and submit their vote on the constitutional amendments approved at the 2025 Mission Convocation. For all details and resources regarding these amendments, click the button below.
We have released our next two-year daily prayer and reading calendar, Devoted to Prayer. This guide is to provide the average layperson and pastor with the simple tools for sorting through the busyness of their lives and reclaiming an act of daily discipleship with their Lord. The daily readings follow the Lutheran Book of Worship two-year daily lectionary, which reflect the church calendar closely.
You don’t need to start big. Just start faithful.
