Oliver Fegan
CEO & Co-Founder

Oliver is usheru’s CEO and Co-Founder.
He started his career as a Management Consultant primarily advising FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) clients on strategy and process improvement projects.
His entrepreneurial spirit got the better of him and he founded a No.1 selling F&B app company before usheru.
He is passionate about all things food, sports and movies. Rugby is his main sport and Inglorious Bastards his favourite movie.
Catherine Downes
COO & Co-Founder

Catherine is usheru’s COO and Co-Founder.
Prior to co-founding usheru, Catherine spent seven years at Google across different product groups. Her roles focused mainly on marketing and sales partnerships. She led the global Google Certified Publishing Partner program which she worked on since inception and grew for two years across Europe, Asia and launched in the US.
In a former life, Catherine studied and worked in criminology research. She speaks French, Spanish and Italian, and was formerly a snowboard instructor in Canada and a road racer – all for fun.
She loves adventure; travel, food and family life, and loves to walk her dog Chucha as much as possible.
Andrés Macias

Andrés is usheru’s CTO and Co-Founder.
He has always been passionate about film and technology. Watching WarGames film as a little kid possibly helped him in developing both passions. At a young age, he also learnt coding in Basic on his first computer, an Amstrad CPC 464.
He graduated as an MsC Telecommunications Engineer, despite probably spending more time in the film library watching art-house movies than attending the university.
He worked as an IT Manager in a travel tour operator for a few years before he founded his first start-up company in 2010. By then, he had very little idea about sales, marketing, finance or any other business area that had nothing to do with technology, so it was obviously a big failure. However, it gave him the opportunity to meet Oliver during an entrepreneurship programme funded by Enterprise Ireland and very quickly they became friends. In 2014, they teamed up with Catherine and the three of them founded usheru together. The rest is history… or history in the making.

Film & TV producer with almost two decades of experience in the field. She graduated from Social Communications (UBA – Argentina) and developed her career in the main Argentine production companies & broadcasters. After several years in the industry, she focused her work in audience development, public policies, marketing & global promotion of audiovisual content. She was Head of Exhibition & Media Content Manager for CINE.AR (INCAA’s public TV & VoD) and the associated national cinema network.
Currently in Madrid, she works as a Project Manager in the cinema & cultural sector. She also supports distributors, exhibitors and producers in the development of their audience & digital strategies and she works for a variety of international film labs & audiovisual programs. (Tutor at Series LAB at SANFIC Industria in Chile / Curator at WEMW Streamers Inspirational Lab in Italy – both since 2021)
Michael Cullen

Michael Cullen reps usheru out of THE city of trees – Boise, Idaho. He found a passion for live entertainment booking student shows at University of Idaho + providing hospitality for Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival on campus.
From opening restaurants to working with teens at One Stone (student-led nonprofit), he prefers a fast-pace and leans into problem solving. He was hired as Assistant Director of Brand Development + Marketing at ExtraMile Arena, leading community engagement and digital marketing. In 2023, recognized by Boise State president with the President’s Community Service Award for arena’s sustainability-inspired artist gift. He works with the partnerships committee to support the annual Event Venue Marketing Conference.
He is active in local arts community by volunteering with TRICA (Treasure Valley Institute for Children’s Arts), Alexa Rose Foundation (artist grants specific to Ada County + Canyon County). Michael has worked with Treefort Music Fest since 2014, multi-venue festival that covers music, film, food, technology and yoga across 5 days.

Alex is usheru’s Head of Film.
Connecting films with audiences has been at the heart of his career in film which began as a programmer at UK exhibitor Picturehouse followed by senior roles at the UK Film Council and the BFI, the latter as Head of Distribution. His role as Head of Film at usheru continues this trajectory and passion, focusing on innovating the movie marketing process through the use of data analytics.

Based in Bulgaria with previous experience at Customer Support and Team Management. Hristina spent 10 years living in Finland, there she learned that there is no such thing as bad weather, only unprepared people and this was a game changer! Now wind, rain, mud, cold are just part of the experience, she enjoys them as much as a cold drink on the beach (and loves that).
Her hobbies and interests are numerous, some of them are photography and wandering in nature. Almost all the time Hristina will find salvation in nature – whenever she needs to regain my focus, recenter, ground myself or simply quiet her mind.
At home she loves reading books – astronomy, quantum physics, psychology and marketing are the main topics. For a few years she has also been experimenting with natural material and their dying purposes on natural fabrics. Whenever she feels like not doing anything she puts on some music or a podcasts.
In the long list of interests Hristina can’t skip food as well. Cooking, eating, all things good cuisine – she is your full-time gastronome.

A mum of 2, her 11 year old daughter plays football for Derby County FC so that doesn’t leave her much time spare for hobbies, however anytime spare goes to watching films and TV series on the sofa!
