ZF Wind Power has reached a major milestone in offshore wind: over 10 GW of shipped capacity in collaboration with Vestas.

As a leading innovator, ZF Wind Power invests in a Test & Prototype Center. The center contains the world's most powerful validation test bench needed to develop the next generations of wind turbine powertrains. This state-of-the-art 30 MW test rig can validate complete powertrain systems for onshore and offshore wind turbine applications.
Moving Sustainability
The first complete powertrain for the Vestas V236-15.0 MWTM turbine did leave the plant in Lommel (Belgium) via water.
The combination of inland shipping and short sea transport offers logistical, social and sustainable advantages. Vessels transport with less CO₂ emissions than the alternatives. It illustrates how ZF Wind Power is empowering a sustainable future together with its partners.
