New Greenhouse
Mar. 11th, 2025 08:35 amIt has been a long time coming. There has been a second greenhouse that has been built next door to the main greenhouse. This second one will house plants of the magical kind. I am bloody excited about it and can't wait to see baby sprouts soon.

Dec. 20th, 2024 06:58 amThe Yule Festivies are upon us. Tomorrow is the longest night of the year. There will be some food and goodies in the kitchen. I'll be making homemade mulled wine and gingerbread people for people who want to decorate. No pressure. It's just an excuse to use ingredients from the gardens and have a fun time.

Pumpkin Season
Oct. 17th, 2024 07:19 amWhen I planted pumpkins, I didn't expect to get 15! There are now 14 pumpkins on the big kitchen counter. I am carving and placing the last one just outside the greenhouse doors. Enjoy.

Jul. 22nd, 2024 03:56 pmI am finding much solace in the greenhouse lately, it is quiet and the plants are growing in beautifully. Buried underneath some old tarps, I found a nice sitting area with a table and a couple of chairs. It is perfect for afternoon tea and some light reading.
There is still plenty of room for additional plants, if anyone wants to give it a go.

A Formal Invite
Apr. 10th, 2024 06:12 pmThis is a formal invite to everyone at the mansion. On April 30th to the morning hours of May 1st, I will be hosting the first Beltane Festival (aka Witches Night)! It is a Pagan festival that marks the midpoint between the spring equinox and the summer solstice.
The festivities will be held in the forest near the mansion, where there will be food and drink (mead is tradition but there will be other drinks available), music and dancing, and my personal favorite - Bonfires. Everyone is encouraged to wear green and flower crowns! There will be plenty of sitting for everyone. Stay for an hour, stay for the entire night!
Come join in this magical night!

Greenhouse Interest?

I was thinking of taking over part of it to grow herbs for my spellcasting and research but I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in helping with the rest of it? I thought it would be a good idea to start growing other things that other people might like or interested in. Or if you are interested in herbs and their magical properties I can help with that as well.
