NOVEMBER 2024- MISCELLANEOUS

 Image

Mom was invited to an awards night at work being recognized for working with the company for 25 years. She started at Jordan Valley at the age of 19 where she started her Radiology clinicals in 1997. She continues to love the company and the people she works with 25+ years later. It's been an incredible career and one that has allowed flexibility depending on the kids schedules and monetary needs.

You know it is Tuesday around noon at the Yates home when you see a pile of shoes left at the door. Lunch Time!!

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, mom plans a "Friendsgiving" lunch for Aysia and her friends. She made Turkey, funeral potatoes, veggie tray, rolls and pumpkin cookies for dessert.

It's been fun having both boys home to play soccer together. With both of them living in the Orem/Provo area, they love playing indoor, outdoor and inter-mural teams together. Luckily all those years of Jayden having Skyler positioned in front of the goal so he could practice his "shots" is paying off, Skyler is a great keeper for this reason!

We couldn't end the month without recognizing dad and his role with the Young Men. He loves getting to know the boys and always goes the extra mile to take them to mission prep when they host it every other week.

Dad doesn't have a lot of down time with his job and being bishop, but when he has a minute or two, he loves to be in the kitchen. He whipped up this cake from scratch one night when he was craving chocolate cake. We love that we have a dad and husband that isn't afraid of the kitchen and trying new things!
