LA Record

I did a couple full-page illustrations for the current issue (#111) of LA Record.

First is to accompany an article about Kathleen Hanna's newest musical venture, the Julie Ruin!

Also did this to accompany an interview with Trina Robbins, author of "Pretty In Ink," a book about female cartoonists coming out soon from Fantagraphics.

Blood & Guts

A few months back I started working at United Print & Press, a small independently-owned screen printing shop.  At the time, they were mostly printing hockey jerseys and shirts for small businesses.

The owner wanted to start his own line of lifestyle apparel with a hockey theme called Blood & Guts.

I ended up designing quite a few things for it. The owner also happens to be a wrestling fan, cult movie fan and a punk/hardcore fan, so we get along pretty well.

Alright, here goes nothing.  I've been neglecting this for far too long.  Neglect began when I started a full-time job that ACTUALLY involved designing, and I got caught up in the work-grind.  My website is also in serious need of an update, but let's start small first.

Had a lot of fun with this one. I got to passive-aggressively take out my rage toward dumb crusties.
