The Andalusian Housing and Refurbishment Agency (AVRA) is a body of the Andalusian Administration entrusted by the department to which it belongs, the Regional Ministry of Development, Territorial Planning and Housing, with tasks related to the promotion of housing, the promotion of residential land development and the comprehensive management of all public housing in Andalusia, with 72.267 properties in which families with limited resources live. For years, this housing stock has been undergoing extensive refurbishment to improve its energy efficiency, with measures promoted thanks to European funding and which are reducing the carbon footprint in the atmosphere, while improving the quality of life and the economy of resident families, making their homes more comfortable and reducing their electricity bills.


At the same time, AVRA promotes housing on its own plots and develops other sites, on its own initiative or with private collaboration, to promote residential developments and maximum sustainability.
