About the Hackathon
Welcome to the Aleo Hackathon! We're thrilled to invite you to use your coding skills to venture into the boundless possibilities of the privacy-preserving blockchain technology of Aleo. You'll have the opportunity to create projects that address real-world challenges, compete for prizes, and connect with amazing individuals at our hacker house on November 16th: https://lu.ma/zkHouse_Hackathon
Requirements
What to Build
- This hackathon is an open-themed event, and you are welcome to build whatever you want.
- You can also refer to our bounties to create a project that qualifies for the top 3 prizes, along with stackable bounties.
What to Submit
- Submit a video of up to 2-5 minutes long explaining your project
- Share the link to your code/repository (Github or similar)
Pitching Requirements:
- UPDATE: We've removed the in-person pitching aspect from the hackathon. There is NO in-person pitching component.
- When submitting your project, you are required to include a link to a pre-recorded demo video that's publicly shareable on a platform like Loom, YouTube, Vimeo, or similar. If there isn't a demo in your video and/or the video is not set to public and watchable, your project will be disqualified.
Prizes
1st place
$15,000 will be awarded to the top project built on Aleo. This prize tier is eligible for bounty stacking, which would increase the total prize amount.
2nd place
$10,000 will be awarded to the 2nd best project built on Aleo. This prize tier is eligible for bounty stacking, which would increase the total prize amount.
3rd place
$5,000 will be awarded to the 3rd best project built on Aleo. This prize tier is eligible for bounty stacking, which would increase the total prize amount.
Archblock Bounty - $1000
The project with the best stablecoin implementation in Leo will receive a $1000 bounty award.
Archblock Bounty - $500
The project with the best stablecoin implementation in Leo will receive a 500 bounty award.
Avail Bounty - $2500
The project with the best sharing algorithm in Leo will receive a $2500 bounty award.
Avail Bounty - $500

Demox Bounty
The project with the best zkID: NFTs, powered by web2 data, will receive a $3000 bounty award.
Kryha Bounty
The project with the best zkLeaderboard will receive a $3000 bounty award.

The project with the best Leo Bug Hunting with Vanguardwill receive a $3000 bounty award.
Humine Labs Bounty - $500
The project with the best use of the Aleo Swift SDK and On-Device Processing on iOS will receive a $500 bounty award.
