A high quality with good ingredients. My cat didn’t like it because she refused any kind of “ pâté” food.

My cats won’t eat this but they do like the dry stuff. They just don’t eat wet cat food. I gave it away and the other cats loved it.

My Coal has lived a long life in his five years and his body is starting to show signs of aging. He's got skin conditions and asthma now and I've been trying my best to keep him healthy and happy. This food is so expensive I put a call out asking for help and a few people generously sent cases for my boy to try. His ear lesion is completely healed now and he's been having much more fun with his days, playing with his toys, running and climbing - it's great to see and I know it's this special gluten/grain-free food. We're moving to a place with no carpets so I'm hoping that and this special diet will help him enjoy life for a good decade more. So very grateful.

I typically buy a different Hills Science Diet wet food but the price increased by 30% overnight, so I opted for this. What a joke, my cats wouldn’t even go near it. The consistency is like a hockey puck with a bit of water added, even when you try to break it up in the dish, you can’t make it look good. Disappointed in Hills!!

Further, Amazon’s subscription service includes pet food yet the product can’t be returned so although I was under the impression I was getting a break from savings, this product isn’t covered under Amazon’s return policy. Thanks for nothing. Great way for Amazon to take advantage!! Now I’m out by what I paid for 3 cases plus what it will cost me to purchase an additional three. Heading to the pet store now - Hills Science Diet is becoming less reliable, just like the others. No one cares about anything.

Bought this hoping it would help with his runny smelly stole. The first problem I ran into is he wouldn't eat it so since it is so dense I added some hot water to soften it up. He started eating it so all was good I thought until I looked in the bowl, he had licked up all the juice and left the solids. So in desperation I mixed it half and half with his old food and he does eat it but there is always leftovers which never happened before. After a couple of weeks of this I do notice a slight improvement in his stole and the awful smell that use to permeate through the kitty liter area. If you have a picky eater this may not be for you. Attached is what I thought I was getting I think they better change the deceving picture.

I am trying to change my cats' food from dry to wet to try to prevent kidney problems. Neither cat will eat this food. Instead of buying cases, I wii now buy single cans until I find the one, if any, that they like.

My cat has been on savoury beef science diet food but I switched him to this as he seems to have a sensitive stomach. He LOVES this stuff. I’ve given him regular science diet chicken wet food and he turns his nose up at it. So I thought he would do the same with this stuff. NOPE. I only gave this a 3 star for ‘value for money’ because they are the smaller cans and I wish they came in the bigger sized cans as then I wouldn’t have to go through these so fast being smaller and having to order more then I use to with the bigger cans.

Our ragdoll, Wendy, started having GI issues at a young age. We tried 5 different foods to see if we could find one that agreed with her. The closest success we found was weruva, but Wendy had lingering symptoms of IBS and colitis at times. We ruled out a protein allergy and realized Wendy was most likely sensitive/allergic to thickening agents. We found varying degrees of success with foods our vet recommended. We decided to try one more commercially available food before looking into prescription food. After some research, we found this food that did not have the thickening agents she is sensitive to. Since switching, she’s been doing much better! She is gaining weight, has normal BMs, and really seems to love the food itself. Her brother seems to like it too and eats her leftovers . It’s kind of a unique consistency— a very thick, almost gummy pate. I feel like it smells better than her brother’s fancy feast. It’s pricier than weruva, but we preferred a store bought food over having to get prescription food. She seems much happier on her new food!

Update after several months—

This food has been great. We switched Wendy’s brother over as well. It has totally helped Wendy’s GI symptoms. She had frequent vomiting as well and that has pretty much stopped except for occasional hairball. We expanded to duck and salmon as they got bored of chicken. They really love the duck especially. We tried tuna and it made them sick unfortunately. So, we rotate duck, chicken, and salmon.

Also, it has made both our cat’s coats sooo soft!! Maybe it’s the salmon oil, but a few months after switching, both their coats are noticeably softer and thicker! Amazing!
