Why I Created Aging Parent Network
I'm Valerie Upham, a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), and I created Aging Parent Network because I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming it can be for families to navigate the aging journey. After guiding countless families and walking through this experience with my own parents and in-laws, I realized how much stress, confusion, and heartache could be avoided with the right support.
No two families are dealing with the exact same thing, but almost everyone I talk to is dealing with the same feeling — not knowing where to start, or who to trust. That's really what I wanted to build: someone you can call who takes the time to understand your situation first, then points you toward whoever's actually right for it — not whoever's next on a list. That's it. That's the whole idea.
