Frequently asked questions
Do you offer toll-free or vanity numbers?
We don’t currently support 1-800, 1-888, or custom vanity numbers. If you are looking for expanded services, we suggest our partner 800.com. Caddy offers local numbers only.
Is Caddy available outside the US and Canada?
Caddy is currently available to customers in the United States and Canada only. This includes number availability, calling, and texting.
Is my Caddy number permanent or temporary?
Your Caddy number is yours as long as your subscription remains active. If you cancel, your number becomes inactive and is released from your account after 14 days. Texts, contacts, and call history remain stored in your account until you resubscribe and a new number is chosen.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed through your device’s app store. To cancel an Apple subscription: Navigate to your phone Settings → select [Your Name] → Subscriptions → tap the subscription you want to end → select ‘Cancel Subscription’. To cancel a Google Play subscription: Open the Google Play Store → tap your profile icon in the top-right → select Payments & subscriptions → tap Subscriptions → choose the subscription you want to end → select Cancel subscription, and confirm
Can I change or delete my number?
You can change your Caddy number once per month. This limit exists to comply with anti-spam regulations.
What happens if I cancel or delete my account?
You can delete your Caddy account through the Settings tab. When you do, you’ll permanently lose access to your messages, call logs, voicemails, and attachments, and your Caddy number will be released immediately. If your subscription expires, your account becomes inactive and phone numbers are released from your account after 14 days.
