Cunjian Chen obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from West Virginia University under the supervision of Arun Ross and Antitza Dantcheva. Before joining Monash, he worked as a Senior Research Associate at Michigan State University, working with Arun Ross. He serves as one of the Program Co-Chairs for ACMMM 2026 and as an Associate Editor for Pattern Recognition, IEEE Transactions on Biometrics, Behavior, and Identity Science (T-BIOM), Neurocomputing, The Visual Computer, and Neural Processing Letters. His research interests include generative models and their applications in computer vision. He is also a Senior Member of IEEE and leads the Image and Vision Group.

• Generative AI, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Medical Image Analysis.
