About the game

What is Dimraeth?

Dimraeth is Mudtek’s hybrid action RPG set in the handcrafted pixel-art world of Mirkea. The official Steam description combines deliberate Souls-lite combat with character progression, crafting and base-building. In practical terms, that means an expedition is only one part of the loop: you fight, explore, collect resources, develop your hero, then return to a home that can grow with you.

The game can be played alone or with friends in seamless online co-op for up to eight players. Steam describes a world where story progress, recruited allies and buildings stay tied to each world, while a hero’s level, equipment, inventory, spells and personal progression travel between worlds. That distinction is useful when deciding whether to start a solo save, join a friend, or do both.

Dimraeth entered Steam Early Access on September 15, 2026. The live Early Access selection is smaller than the game’s long-term character-system headline: the official FAQ currently lists three playable races and three playable classes, while the store describes a wider eight-race, six-class, 48-Archetype scope. This homepage keeps those two time horizons separate so a roadmap idea does not become a false launch roster.

Current build

What’s in Early Access now?

See the current roster →

The official Steam FAQ calls the current build fully playable as a co-op action RPG. It names three playable races—minotaur, elves and humans—and three playable classes—brawlers, mages and shadows. Those labels are the reliable starting point for an Early Access character: they describe what the live FAQ says is playable, without pretending that every future race, class or pairing has already arrived.

Character creation

Race and class are the two visible choices in the current roster. The store also describes an Archetype layer for race-and-class pairings, with its own skill tree and playstyle. Exact node connections, attribute requirements and balance rankings are not published in the official store copy, so use the in-game tree before committing points.

Starter progression

The official FAQ identifies a complete starter region running from The Lost Caverns through Earlwood Village and into the Wildwood Forest. It also lists the full crafting and base-building loop, a working skill tree and attribute system, equipment with rarity tiers and upgrades, and multiple boss encounters. The map guide records this at region level rather than inventing pins or quest order.

Spells and co-op

Steam says more than 300 spells are available and that five spells can be equipped at a time. Racial and class tools, crafted spellbooks and attribute requirements are part of the store’s description; the exact best combination is a build question, not an official ranking. For group play, the official description supports up to eight players, while cross-platform details remain unconfirmed.

Long-term scope

The 48 Archetypes roadmap

Steam presents Dimraeth’s larger character system as eight races combined with six classes, producing 48 distinct Archetypes. The store says each pairing has its own skill tree and playstyle. That is a useful description of the game’s intended breadth, but it is not a promise that all 48 combinations are selectable in the first Early Access build.

The current FAQ lists three playable races and three playable classes. This gives players a clear live starting point, while the rest of the eight-by-six model remains future scope unless an official update identifies a new option. A planned race, class, skill tree or region stays labelled planned or TBD on this wiki until a source says it is live.

There is no official milestone list here for which missing race, class or Archetype arrives next, and no source-backed tier list for the current choices. That is intentional. You can use the classes and Archetypes guide to understand the model, then use the builds guide for conservative Early Access planning based on what the sources actually establish.

Search note

Finding the right Dimraeth guide

Players also search for this game as dimreath, dimaeth or dimraet, usually because the name is easy to mistype. This wiki uses the official spelling, Dimraeth, in headings and links so the information stays consistent, while this one note helps those searches reach the same Early Access guide.

For a first session, start with the current classes and races, choose a cautious route in the Dimraeth builds guide, then review the co-op rules or the confirmed region list. When a detail is not in an official source, the page says so instead of filling the gap with a confident-sounding guess.

Starter FAQ

Is Dimraeth released?

Yes. The official Steam page lists September 15, 2026 as the Early Access release date and currently provides access to the game.

What is available in Dimraeth Early Access?

The official Early Access FAQ lists three playable races—minotaur, elves and humans—and three playable classes—brawlers, mages and shadows. It also describes a complete starter region, crafting, base-building, a working skill tree, equipment upgrades and online co-op.

How many spells can I equip?

The Steam description says you can equip five spells at a time and that more than 300 spells are available in total. Exact spell access depends on the live game and its requirements.

Can I play Dimraeth with friends?

Yes. Steam describes solo play or seamless drop-in/drop-out online co-op for up to eight players. Cross-platform play and detailed matchmaking rules are not confirmed here.

Are all 48 Dimraeth Archetypes playable now?

No. Eight races combined with six classes describes the broader 48-Archetype scope. The current Early Access FAQ lists three races and three classes, so this wiki keeps the wider roster separate from the live selection.
